The Report of the Committee on Physical Infrastructure on the Management and Status of Uganda Railways Corporation
(Railway accidents , Achievements of URC, Missing wagons , 21bn capacity building expenditure , Missing URC land tittles , recommendations among others )
Will be officially submited to the office of the Clerk on Monday 31st August 2026.
The Committee would wish to thank the Office of the Clerk for the support and all stakeholders who appeared before the Committee to facilitate this process .
We would also like to thank on a special note the Right Hon Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Parliament for all the support rendered to the Committee during this process.
THE REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE ON PHYSICAL INFRASTRUCTURE ON THE MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION OF THE KAMPALA ENTEBBE EXPRESSWAY TOLLS (KEE) has finaly been completed today on the 15th day of August and signed by Hon Members of the Committee on Physical Infrastructure.
The Committee will therefore officially submit it to the office of the Clerk on Monday 17th August 2026.
We wish to thank the Office of the Clerk for the support and all stakeholders who appeared before the Committee to facilitate this process .
We would also like to thank on a special note the Right Hon Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Parliament for all the support rendered to the Committee during this process.

In company of Minister of State for Tourism Hon Martin Bahinduka, Hon Tom Bright, Prime Minister of Buganda Charlse Mayiga , Act Commissioner Museums Jackline Nyirancyiza at the 45th Session of the World Heritage Convention in Saudi Arabia where Kasubi Tombs built in 1882 & burnt down in 2010 has been officially removed from the UNESCO danger list.
I wish to thank all stakeholders who worked tirelessly to restore the tombs to their traditional architecture notably President of the Republic of Uganda for the 2.3 bn contribution, Parliament of Uganda, Ministry of Tourism wildlife & Antiquities, kingdom of Buganda 9.5 bn & all International partners especially the Japanese government for the $500,000 (about Shs 2 billion) donation used to install firefighting equipment around the tomb premises
