Funny enough, .si is Slovenia's country-code domain.
Anguilla made a fortune off .ai domains thanks to artificial intelligence.
Slovenia might be sitting on a gold mine.
Serious question: with all the talk of renaming "artificial intelligence" to "super intelligence"...
Are you buying a .si domain to go with your .ai?
The Decisions API looks more like validation for Jev instead of a threat.
More competition means more options for developers. I'm excited to see how Jev sets itself apart.
I replaced a custom mobile swipe stack with @shadcn's carousel.
No more jittering, no more drag state machine, no more reinventing the wheel.
Love a fix that makes the code smaller.
Desktop and mobile UI should be built simultaneously. Every time I update something on one, I discover something new about the other.
I learn this lesson over and over again.
I like tools that make the boring path the easy path.
If doing the safe thing requires a special command and a wiki page, I'm not doing it.
I've been off my phone because of one simple fact:
If I average 4hrs a day (which I was),
and I do that from 16 to 100 (if I'm lucky)...
That's 14 years of my life gone into the abyss.
Put the phone down.
SEO has become a circus with AI in the mix... llms.txt for agents, OAI-SearchBot rules, pages for crawlers, noindex for anything private...
Please find me, but only over here
It's been about a week... is anyone else using try.cloudflare.com in place of standard staging environments?
My picks for #UFC331:
Pantoja ← Van
Tsarukyan ← Ruffy
Pitbull → Choi
Menifield → Baraniewski
Vera → Jourdain
Tuivasa → Despaigne (😢)
Boring Mode → Fun Mode
Personal sites should be fun again.
(experimenting ... not sure if I like it yet)
Seeing so many things created with @threejs lately.
What are some cool projects you've seen or built?
Have coding agents gotten too verbose?
PR descriptions, code reviews, comments... everything is becoming an essay.
What are you all doing about it?
Fine, I’ll do it myself. 🫰
The answer is defined output schemas + tighter constraints.
github.com/holmplanet/prune
There’s something really satisfying about the SDK/docs side of open source.
Taking a repo → building a small brand around it → turning it into something that feels like a real project is way too much fun.
prune.holmplanet.com
I think @PulumiCorp makes even more sense in the age of agents.
Describe the infrastructure in actual code → keep it in the repo → let the agent reason about it alongside the application.
I provisioned a Briefs instance this week with it and I’m sold github.com/holmplanet/briefs…
