today’s a difficult day for her, five years since emma’s passing. she didn’t just lose a sister, she lost her best friend, her whole world. she’s spent today curled up on emma’s memorial bench, despite the cold, & unaware of the multiple missed calls from the [ 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 ].

she needs the [ 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑 ] to come and bail her out of the police station. she’ll explain later.

it’s that time again.

stevie watched as he raised his hands in surrender, just as she thought. she kept the rose in her grasp, grinning. “aw, how sweet of you! haven’t had flowers since my sister died.” she steps aside. “now why don’t you come in for a drink, since you’re here?”

“hmmm, no. no.” shaking her head, now she was the one with a smirk on her face. she leant against the door frame, arms crossed. “well i beg your pardon, but it was you who rocked up to my door. what else were you here for, a tea party?”

( little eye twitch, hand reaching to snatch the rose from his grasp. childish, she knows, but it’s all she could think of doing on the spot. ) not complete without your little rose, are you? especially when it wasn’t for me in the first place, which is just rude.

ah well, looks like i’ll be enjoying this nice big bowl of treats all to myself. ☺️
