Inheritance tax has got to be the most retarded of all taxes. You have to pay the government money for the privilege of inheriting something that's already yours, and has already been taxed before it even got to you. Why?
$31.1 trillion. America's debt after amid historically high inflation. Debt was $10.6T when Obama took office (2009); $19.9T (+88%) when Trump took office (2017); and $27.8T (+40%) when Biden took office (2021). Looks ok to me. :-(
