A girl is dead, students are protesting at Lovely Professional University demanding answers, and yet there is barely any mainstream media attention.
Students are protesting after reports that a female student was raped at GH-3 and later died by suicide. After she complained the warden sent her home and no action was taken.
Instead of answers, protesting students have faced police action including a lathi-charge.
LPU’s Founder-Chancellor, Ashok Kumar Mittal, is a BJP Rajya Sabha MP.
Is this why there is so little media attention?
