For the past 20 months, UK government ministers — Conservative and Labour — have aided and abetted crimes against humanity. Recently, some politicians have attempted to backtrack and change their tune. Perhaps they are frightened by the consequences of their complicity. If they had any integrity, they would weep for the 61,000+ Palestinians who died as a result of their moral and political cowardice. We will not rest until the government finally listens to the demand being made by millions of people of all backgrounds and faiths: end all arms sales to Israel, now. Momentum is shifting. We will expose the full scale of UK complicity in genocide. We will bring about justice. And we will continue to campaign for the only path to peace: the liberation of Palestine.

In 2011, there were reports that Saudi authorities who observe the skies mistook Saturn for the moon, and this reportedly happened again in 2019, but Saudi Arabia denied this happened newarab.com/news/did-saudi-a…

The Shawwal 1446 crescent appeared to be approximately 26 hours old. Guinness World Records should record the names of all those Saudis who demonstrated exceptional eyesight and witnessed this crescent when it was only 4–6 hours old yesterday. Eid Mubarak 🌙 🌙.

The moon of the first night of Shawwal in the UK Seen by eye- thousands all over the country. There is a conversation to be had around the advancement of technology and moonsighting. But seems like naked eye sighting is a position agreeable by all in the UK.

For us it is 29 Ramadan tomorrow- although some will be looking tonight after maghrib (for research purposes) we know a 7hr old moon even cannot be seen by eye- it’s still in the New moon phase, and on the day of an eclipse. Those with knowledge will understand. The Islamic month begins with the Hilal 🌙 Even if celebrating Eid tomorrow- do look up and see the Hilal for yourself- it will be a beautiful sight الله أكبر

Polite reminder: we are a organisation based in the UK with the mission to solve a very specific issue that we experience in our land. Social media is far reaching and we have people who interact with our content from all around the world سبحان الله - we welcome you and appreciate you all! However remember when it comes to moonsighting and the Islamic calendar we are only concerned with matters in this country- other countries may often be mentioned in the context of how it affects us here. If you’re curious and want to find out more- go through the content on our highlights tab. Tag friends who may be interested!
