A little over two years ago, I joined @mercury. I never expected I'd be there to push our API forward to the point where customers can categorize transactions and submit payments through their agents. But here they are: 450k of them. 😍

Got early access to Mercury actions for a while now and this finally completed my accounting/admin workflow as a solo founder running a 7-fig agency 🔥
@bot creates payments in @mercury from email invoices and our internal records. I just go in and approve. Reconciliations with our books run monthly in Codex with the mercury MCP too.
Took me a while to get past the "my bank shouldn't be shiny" syndrome but I don't see a way back at this point

Working alongside HHMI Janelia Research Campus and the scientific community, @GoogleResearch scientists and researchers used AI to combine millions of 2D images into 3D neural shapes, reconstructing a record-breaking 166,000+ neurons. This foundational map of the adult male fruit fly brain can help accelerate our understanding of the brain, and is a major milestone in neuroscience.

1/ Today, we’re launching real-time payments (RTP): instant, always-on money movement, 24/7, weekends and holidays too.
Pay someone at 9pm on a Friday, it lands by 9:01.
Many banks don’t even know US RTP are possible (lots of banks don’t offer it). Its now live on Mercury.
Here's hoping that, in 10 years, they've eradicated the entire genre.
