For #FluorescenceFriday here's some mitochondrial actin "state switching." This metaphase mito starts out associated with actin cables, before forming an actin comet tail ☄️, becoming trapped within an actin cloud ☁️, then exiting stage left via another☄️ nature.com/articles/s41586-0…
Now if I could just get @JawnnyH to set up and align the lattice and you to process and visualize the data with @hipgpu for all my experiments...
Interested in how Hydra can help process your data? Are you attending #ASCBEMBO2019? Come by the @AICjanelia booth. We will be talking about how to apply to the AIC program. See how together we can move #scienceforward. #GPUaccelerated #ASCB

If your proposal is accepted this next round, you can come to @HHMIJanelia and learn first hand how Hydra can help process your data. Apply now janelia.org/aic
A friendly reminder that the current call for proposals closes tomorrow at 5pm EST. Submit now at janelia.org/aic.

I’m always open to collaborations! It would be great to have a unified processing library that could be used from any tool. Feel free to add that to the forum hydraimageprocessor.com/foru… .
It would be nice to work with @haesleinhuepf, @ctrueden and the @FijiSc community to have platform independent CPU and GPU image processing... for example an FFT library, which could run on Cuda or OpenCL depending on what's available. (probably brings us back to imagej-ops)

This could be a good idea. Let’s see where it takes us.
Replying to @hipgpu
Looking forward to write a tale with you about Hydra hunting the rabbit (or vice versa, let's see)😃 The winner could host the second winner for a hackathon? 😁

That would be an interesting addition. Also, there is a forum to help people vote what will be the most useful addition to Hydra. Put your stake in the ground here: hydraimageprocessor.com/foru…

It might be beneficial to fall-back to OpenCL for devices that are not supported by CUDA. We should chat. Also, there is a forum to help people vote what will be the most useful addition to Hydra. Put your stake in the ground here: hydraimageprocessor.com/foru…
Connected components analysis and watershed are pretty tricky on the GPU 😏 I offer to help if we do it also in #OpenCL in parallel for #clij 😏

What is your favorite image filter that you would like to see accelerated by GPUs? RT with your suggestions for what I should add to the library.

Thanks @DGriffStudios for designing this logo. I hope you all like it as much as I do.
