Im just going to respond to it once and for all. Decentralization to my definition is to as spread out as possible in terms of nodes operation, so as to: 1. Increase the difficulty in bad actors coordinating an attack 2. Such that a few being targeted down doesnt affect network health Being 100% sure that im good actor myself. Guess assist in maintaining these pools are good for decentralization.
Depends on the person, I suppose. Some don't care about decentralization; they just want ADA to go up and their staking rewards. EMURGO did a great job appealing to a very large pool of ada holders and attracted many European ADA holders. If I had to choose how it went, I would've liked it disbursed back into smaller pools struggling to survive here. If I owned the pools, I would've sold them to at least exit with money in my pocket. @MurasakiCardano and @hinsoncode are very capable people and understand web3 and Cardano very well, for this I am grateful

Some life update of myself to my friends: In past few months spent quite a bit of time meditating myself. With a fresh brain, guess pretty much back onto the vibe of building cool stuff. In past year building @DeltaDeFi, we had an internal AI operation framework. It is simply out of the FOMO that we NGMI if we cant catch up in this competitive industry. Tho massive similar people claiming success in doing so, it is indeed much more challenging (also interesting) than I thought. Even tho the exchange has been stopped in operation, it still intrigues me a lot that how an AI-native company should look like. Thus continuing building on top of the framework, tell some friends about it, got some contract works on it (which is good!). So with fresh brain, I build this fresh @use_brian. It'd be my next experiment, and open source at - github.com/use-brian/use-bri… So do I officially left Cardano? Definitely no. Tho might not be as ambitious as before, I'd be still around for a few stuff: - work on re-thinking what good devx is about, and be around in the developer community in general - as a core part of devx activity, would continue working on maintaining @meshsdk - help @MurasakiCardano for maintenance of the pools taken over from emurgo - and brainstorming with some friends on what else I could build on Cardano Moving life focus away from building product directly on Cardano atm also means I probably wont care too much on all the craziness from our community. And yet, still my eyes would be still on this family and wish it succeeds as much as i was before. Going forward, I'd make this account to be more of a personal X that share a wider range of stuff surrounding what I build and interested in. Stay connected my friends🤙

In a detox to think about life and whats next for @DeltaDeFi, was planned to stay low and chill a bit dodging dramas. But heard some rumours on Hydra that gotta speak up - I have mentioned about Hydra is pre-mature like a year ago, but my experience working with @sharan_konerira has been amazing. The fact that a project like DeltaDeFi can indeed come into live isnt simply a miracle, but lots of hard work to fix countless issues from V1 to V2. Now the Hydra project has already moved towards a new realm, where its mature and focusing on performance optimization. Imho, regardless delta's interest, Hydra is the single most important item that the community should fund. IT IS the infrastructure that other ecos have been mocking on us for years and blocked multiple teams at least for those I have met in person to NOT choose Cardano to build their projects. This is the necessary, but alone not sufficient factor, to buy us a ticket going back to the mainstream. Choose the future you want to see carefully.

In difficult times we need to stick together. Focus on the mission and ignore the haters. What we’re learning is that while there are many benefits of a decentralized system; an executive function to set the parameters is needed especially in an industry sector that has not fully matured. We welcome conversations with @IOHK_Charles @F_Gregaard @JBriggsLondon to perhaps revisit our current governance. I believe there is a place for the community, DReps and CCs but perhaps more focused in our asks or better incentivised. We have or will be reaching out to the FEs and Intersect to find a way forward. And in all the doom and gloom; we do have some positive announcements in the pipeline for Cardano. Stay tuned.
Healthy ecosystems are built on honest disagreement. Governance only works when people can challenge decisions, question direction, and hold organizations accountable including EMURGO. That is why the distinction between criticism and coordinated toxicity matters. One sharpens the ecosystem and the other is built to exhaust it, drown out builders, and manufacture fear when people dislike a governance outcome. When governance decisions do not go a certain way, the response from a small number of bad-faith actors is not debate. It is targeted harassment meant to intimidate participants and poison the conversation for everyone else. Our blocking process exists for this reason. It is not a way to avoid scrutiny. We welcome scrutiny. This process removes harassment and manufactured noise so genuine discussion has room to happen. Removing a bad-faith account does not silence a legitimate argument. A real point stands on its own. Coordinated abuse does not and treating the two as the same only rewards the people working to make this space unusable. More needs to be done and not by any single entity. A healthier culture is a shared responsibility across founders, DReps, builders, and community members. Toxicity drives away the exact people Cardano needs to keep building. EMURGO will keep participating in governance, and keep engaging in good faith with people who want to move Cardano forward. The work continues regardless of the noise, and that is where our energy belongs.

The Cardano Summit 2026 proposal expires in about 3 hours. As a DRep the most important thing is to cast your vote and make your voice heard. Whether you vote YES, NO or ABSTAIN is your decision to make. I just ask you to make that decision 🙏 @bigpey @BullishDumpling @Waffle_Capital @tempo_vote @longminswap

Taking the feedback from our first TW proposal, we structured our 2nd attempt with: - A loan structure, with perpetual upside sharing to treasury - Concrete plan for liquidity - Defensive spending and aggressive capital return when not hitting KPIs DeltaDeFi is an attempt to build a Cardano native serious exchange, where we already solved the tech. But serious exchange is a category need serious capital to bootstrap, not on spending, but merely bootstrapping. Tho capital intensive initially, if we succeed, cardano treasury could establish an unprecedented cash inflow (just look at other serious exchanges in parallel ecosystems). This is something beyond our team's will power alone, but need broader ecosystem consensus to push forth. We would also treat the result of this proposal as a signal to see if we would continue investing resources into such attempts, and humbly accept any final results. Pick you builders to stay🫡 hydra-voting.intersectmbo.or…

Im still waiting it turn out to be a large scale curated social experiment😂
Polsia just raised $30M at a $250M valuation. Approaching $10M annual run rate. One Founder + AI. Zero employees. Polsia runs companies autonomously. It also ran its own fundraising. I just showed up for signatures.

Time to accept the fact that the majority of external capital is not interested in cardano. It is also nothing to blame, as an investor, the fact that nearly no projects here hit PMF in scale compared to other major L1s is just a bad risk signal. In order to flip the calculus we needa prove that IT IS INDEED POSSIBLE to make a great bet on Cardano by seeing a few successful cases. Orion fund is great where it is heading towards the correct direction, however i can still imagine that its still extremely difficult for them alone to pull external capital to join any rounds for investing in Cardano projects. And their cheque size alone serves merely the maintenance case, cant support to the stage where real growth and competitiveness happens. One possible way out is we silently see most of the builders being wiped out in this cycle. And hope for some non-Cardano native projects expanding onto Cardano. From an ecosystem pov i think maybe thats a more superior approach to ecosystem growth if executed adequately. Tho 2 nuances (1) guess we dont want to see an ecosystem floods with transitory talents where treat cardano as a "pass-by" station (2) still, why dont they simply build on other L1 with more tractions? If somehow we find builders deserve some merits, stop saying they should go for catalyst or other grant system indeed. Lets start picking winners and losers, and accept the consequences of the own's vote where directly deciding who gonna come and go
Personally, I don't think commercial, revenue-generating projects need to be asking the Cardano Treasury for funding. The "we'll return a portion of revenue to the Treasury" commitment doesn't fix this either. What it really comes down to is an asymmetric structure where the Treasury carries 100% of the failure risk, but the upside gets shared if things work out. It means Cardano's public resources end up serving as seed capital for private businesses, and that's just not a fair deal. Commercial projects should prove their market fit and business model directly, through experts and the market itself. Relying on the Treasury isn't the right path. We already have the @OrionFund and @Catalyst_onX , and beyond that, there are plenty of external funds and organizations a project can raise capital from. If a business model can't prove itself through those channels, I don't see why the Treasury's limited resources should be invested in it either.

414.87M ADA. That’s the value currently visualised through the Cardano Treasury explorer built by @Nomos_guild. app.cgov.io/treasury You can actually see where treasury withdrawals are flowing across infrastructure, tooling, governance, research and ecosystem development. This level of transparency changes how people engage with governance. Honestly one of the coolest governance visualisation tools built so far. *Not a paid promotion
