KANs (Kolmogorov-Arnold Networks) is released which uses learnable non-linear functions in place of scalar weights, enabling them to capture complex non-linear patterns better compared to MLPs.

KANs fundamentally alter the traditional neural network architecture by shifting the position and functionality of activation functions from the nodes (neurons) to the edges (connections between neurons), which are represented by adjustable functions instead of fixed weights.
