It has been over 36 years since the Long March 2E flew for the first time. In its whole 5 year lifespan, it had launched 7 times, with 3 of those launches being failures.

bilibili.com/video/BV1JXLJ6Y… This one startled me slightly, because near the end it randomly shifted into footage of the residential area of the launch center! Its visible how the hotel was erased and later rebuilt following the Intelsat 708 crash.
So the progress with the Intelsat 708 research has kinda stalled, especially due to me essentially being stuck at a dead end with contacting crewmembers. Both responded saying they cannot provide info, one even saying that its "buried for him".
Fun Fact; a sample for the famous song "13 Angles Standing Guard Round Side Your Bed" was named "Long March Rocket Or Doomed Airliner". It was infact named after the Intelsat 708 accident.
