Hey @grok , how was Penny able to afford her own apartment on a waitress’s salary while two PhD physicists struggled to pay rent?

It’s probably time the RTA explicitly addresses lane splitting and filtering. The practice is so common it’s borderline cultural now. Lane filtering, I would say, is almost essential, but lane splitting over a certain speed (of moving traffic) should be illegal or significantly restricted.

The IDT ruling will materially increase the wage bill for the government. The government will do its best to mitigate the financial fallout. In practice, that means fewer doctors on duty, fewer sessions available to cover understaffed areas. It could mean longer wait times, increased burnout, and more medical mistakes. One thing that hasn’t been considered is the adjustment to the consultants on call allowance, because it’s tied to the duty rate of the MO3 level doctor.
