Above all, republican voters (with common sense) showed they are not loyal to a politician or party. This is the way forward. The made the hard call and voted to end this failed admin's reign of fiscal squandering. Blind allegiance created this and was magnified by the influencer network. When a politician thinks they can do no wrong, this is what happens. Candidate quality matters and when it's ignored by leadership, leadership needs to be replaced. It's sad that the democrats will have control for so long, but this was caused by ineffective republican governance, not the voters. When politicians fail to deliver on their promises, the answer is to show them the door, not act like the other side taking power will end the 250-year-old country we love. The fear mongering is tiresome. We're over it. Do you really think so little of the founders that the method of government and the mechanisms within it won't function accordingly? The only time it doesn't is when the government is trying to mess with it, much like the free market, academia, healthcare, etc. So, in the future when democrats do what democrats do and maga remnants start crying about it saying, "See, they're worse." You can remind them that democrats didn't start the war and it was your republican MAGA leadership that you voted for three times that created this. We are not the problem, the cult is. It's time to destroy it and move on to 2028. The fight will be harder thanks to MAGA, but this country is still worth saving.
