Just so we are clear, this isn’t about school funding. Colorado public school teachers have received more than a 70% increase in pay since 2009.
No this is about raising the spending cap governed by TABOR so the Colorado liberal psychos in the legislature can keep and spend your TABOR refund.

This is bullshit. Public school teachers in Colorado pay zero into social security because of PERA.
This injustice should be rectified immediately. All 60,000 Public school teachers in Colorado should have to pay into social security.
A teacher making $60,000 pays Social Security tax on every dollar.
So does a worker earning $184,500.
Someone making $1 million pays it only on the first $184,500. After that, nothing.
Billionaires contribute as if they earn $184,500. That makes no sense.
I have a bill to scrap this arbitrary cap.
If the highest earners paid the same rate as everyone else, Social Security could gain about $3 trillion over the next 10 years.
I’m fighting to protect it.
