I have been studying at local nature center focusing on growth of phragmites. Using the @PlutoJL notebooks, it would be so cool to create a model that plots the growth. Based on the data, it looks like a logistic model but I am not sure. Is there any material that could help me?
I really enjoyed working with this model and I would love tips on books/materials to read further on mathematical modeling; Is this a good career? What college/degree should I pursue? @PlutoJL @JuliaLanguage
Julia makes it easy to create interactive notebooks thanks to the DifferentialEquations.jl (@ChrisRackauckas) and #plutojl packages. It made it much easier to understand each individual variable and how making those changes affects the overall system

Then I did some more digging and found that the Lotka-Volterra model was developed in 1920 and I could read the original paper at pnas.org/content/6/7/410.ful… - it was developed for chemical reactions
ucidatascienceinitiative.git… - I discovered SIR model for COVID last year but it was too complicated for me to fully grasp. However the predator-prey model was much easier for me to grasp
Kicking off the winter break with #JuliaLang - It is so cool that I am able to not only learn Julia, but also prepare for my AP Chemistry and AP Calculus class using Pluto notebooks

Hello! I just recently found out about a package called ChemEquations.jl and have put it to use in a new notebook titled ChemEquations. The notebook consists of the 5 different general chemical equations used. @JuliaLanguage @PlutoJL
I am working on a @PlutoJL notebook where I am trying to create an animated system that shows how a reaction changes to maintain equilibrium, but I am not sure where to start. Any suggestions? @JuliaLanguage
I have started to convert some of the awesome work at Zero To Julia into Pluto notebooks as a way to learn the basics to Julia. Some beginning notebooks are here -> github.com/22natarajank/High…. Includes Binder links to functioning notebooks. I would appreciate some feedback @PlutoJL
I love using @PlutoJL and @JuliaLanguage. Creating notebooks is how I am learning the Julia language. A big thanks to the folks creating this awesome library
Hello Julia folks. I am a high schooler interested in computer science and started looking at Julia. Find it much easier than the Java examples I am learning in my AP Computer Science class. Excited to join this community @JuliaLanguage
