My first app hit 450K+ downloads with zero paid ads - just slideshows. Why slideshows: - bootstrapped, so no big upfront capital - I could produce them at scale myself - way cheaper per view than UGC videos (like 10x lower CPM) How I scaled it: - posted the content myself → made the first revenue - reinvested that profit into more people posting the same content - scaled up from there eventually I had an army of accounts pulling millions of views a month.

Things will start slow with your app no matter what: No reviews on the App Store (no social proof) No genuine feedback so your product is ass No idea which marketing angles work for you No clue what pricing works for you No renewals coming in You learn more every single day that passes. Stop giving up so early. KEEP PUSHING, THIS TAKES TIME AND IT TAKES MONEY TOO SO STOP BEING CHEAP
