The second fight was always going to be easier for Dubois than the first. Fabio's advantage in the first fight was that he didn't know what Daniel was capable of. When he found out, he dug into reserves of willpower and character.
But after a fight like that, your brain now knows what the danger is. As soon as Daniel landed the first meaningful shot, Fabio probably went into survival mode subconsciously, and that was the story of the fight. The second fight is probably how the first should have gone. Fabio was on a high and felt indestructible, quite rightly.
We saw the same thing with Joe Joyce. Once the punch resistance goes, every flaw is exaggerated and the lack of fundamentals becomes apparent. Against someone like Daniel, who has very good fundamentals for a heavyweight, the gap in quality and pedigree shows. That's what we saw.
