I'm on the market this year. Sara pretty much summed it up; I love using mixed methodology and center gender and women's experiences in my research.
@CarlyMillerd (carlymillerd.weebly.com/) studies cooperation among women’s civil society groups in civil wars, published 3 articles, teaches her own conflict course, won a university teaching award, & did field work in Nepal. /5
For those of you still on here, please help spread the word!!!

I'm so proud of Kylie! Her story is such a great example of why undergrad research can open so many doors for students

It's been a blast mentoring Amy on this project, and it's great to see her really growing as a scholar!
Congrats to #OKstatePS junior Amy Campbell, who was in DC this past weekend for the @PSANational Annual Conference! She was on a panel, presenting her Wentz research project "Deploying Feminism at the UN."
Very excited to be teaching as part of the Okstate Cambridge Scholars program once again! I get to mash up topics from some of my favorite classes, (hopefully) teach some pretty cool students, AND get my afternoon tea fix.

No prizes for our #OKstatePoliSci MA contingent this year, but we're still proud of Josh and @SharinJoty for making it to the final round of the CAS 3 Minute Competition. They really held their own, especially considering they were competing against PhD students!
And Josh also did a fantastic job discussing his project analyzing elite-level tweets and their impact on mass protest (2/4)
Finally, here's their posters - Sharin's first. She got to learn how to create maps in Stata for this presentation (3/4)
Check out our MA students competing at the 3min thesis competition today! @SharinJoty knocked it out of the park covering her thesis on women's empowerment and its impact on religious terrorism (1/4)
So excited to cheer on 2 of our MA students - @SharinJoty and Josh McDonnell - as they compete in the "final 15" of the CAS competition this Thursday!
Come hear lightning-fast research talks at #3MinuteThesis on Thursday at 3:00pm in the Library Browsing Room. Refreshments and research! #CAScowboys

Walking across campus today, I heard a student group LOUDLY playing "Smells Like Teen Spirit." Except it was a remixed techno-pop-dance mix version and may have been the greatest crime against music I've ever heard. So now I'm officially feeling old.
Please help spread the word to your colleagues and students! This really is a fantastic networking experience.
For all our women colleagues, now's the chance to apply to the #ISAMW2023 Pay it Forward mini workshop! We're looking for both mentors and mentees for this awesome networking experience, so get your application in before Oct 1 so you can join us! forms.gle/SdVeDdKxJitEGQRv9
