It’s my last night in NYC after 25 years. Moved to Upper West Side on March 1, 2000. Moved to my current pad on June 1, 2004. Off to Hoboken to start a new chapter.
Let the Summer of Scotty officially begin

I’m proud to be the Story Producer of a great new doc airing next month on HBO. It’s called YACHT ROCK: A DOCKUMENTARY, & it’s about the generation of musicians who flourished in L.A. from the mid-70s to the early 80s. It debuts at @DOCNYCfest 11/13-14, then HBO starting 11/29.
I'm going to be using Mastodon more frequently and this feed less moving forward.

I went into Zabars on Friday at 6 p.m. and was struck at how quiet it was. Got home, looked on Reddit and saw I missed all the action an hour earlier when the store hosted a @VampireWeekend pop-up as part of their @TheGarden Weekend

Sounds fantastic. Well-jammed version of one of my favorite songs, "I Need A Teacher," and cool "Eyes Of The World" cover.
Please purchase and help those in Western N.C.

The on-stage audio is wild.
“What the fuck was that you motherfucker? I’m never playing with you again you piece of shit,” Navarro screamed at Farrell backstage before Perry decked him a second time.
Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell punched Dave Navarro in the face a second time AFTER the on-stage fracas according to Navarro's guitar tech Dan Cleary.

Scary periods of unstability aren't limited to the present.
On this date in 1981, a deranged fan rushed Paul Simon in Central Park as he was debuting a song about John Lennon, who was murdered nine months prior less than a mile away

So glad Bruce Springsteen brought back my favorite of his songs.
Welcome back, "Thundercrack!"

Navarro seemed angry and had no patience for Farrell on Wednesday after Perry sang poorly on Tuesday.
FWIW, Farrell had the bottle out at both of the NYC shows as well
