What happens to game development when the โengineโ starts behaving more like a world model?
Iโve been looking at PixVerse R2, and this is the part that caught my attention.
Instead of building a fixed world first, R2 continuously generates what happens next based on the existing world state and your input.
You can move with WASD, type a change, and the world responds while itโs running.
That creates some interesting possibilities:
โ Game designers could explore level ideas before building them
โ Players could have more influence over how a world evolves
โ Developers could prototype interactions by simply testing different inputs
โ Interactive films could become much less about choosing from predefined branches
But I donโt think this means traditional game engines disappear.
Game engines are still incredibly useful when you need precise physics, predictable behavior, deterministic systems, and full control over how a game works.
The interesting future might be the combination:
Traditional engine + world model.
One handles the rules.
The other handles the possibility space.
And that raises a much bigger question:
**What happens when players stop exploring worlds that developers completely designed, and start exploring worlds that respond to them in real time?**
Thatโs the direction Iโm watching closely with world models.

The iPhone Duo arrives on October 23.
A million people pre-ordered it. Every one of them will unfold it, spend 5 minutes going โwow,โ and then spend the next 30 days using it exactly like their old iPhone unfolded for everything, draining the battery by noon, ignoring the outer display, never adjusting a single setting, and wondering why a $1,999 phone feels like an expensive iPad mini that makes calls.
A tech journalist whoโs been using a pre-production iPhone Duo since early September 6 weeks of daily, all-day use learned something the hard way that she wishes someone had told her on day one.
โThe iPhone Duo has a learning curve Apple doesnโt warn you about. Not a technical curve a behavioral one. You have to unlearn how you use an iPhone. The instinct to unfold for everything kills the battery and wastes the outer display. The instinct to hold it like a slab ignores the hinge thatโs a tripod, a kickstand, and a tent. The instinct to use the front camera for selfies throws away the 48MP rear camera system designed to replace it. And the instinct to ignore Settings means youโll miss the Shift Left Edge display hack, the dual-battery optimization, the nano-texture writing surface, and the StandBy upgrade that turns a $1,999 phone into the best bedside clock Appleโs ever made.โ
She documented the 11 daily-use tricks she learned in 6 weeks that transform the iPhone Duo from โbig phone I keep unfoldingโ into the device Apple actually designed.
Hereโs the second wave of hidden iPhone Duo features the ones you discover after the first week ๐งต

19 year old Japanese student built a trading bot with Claude Code in 2 days.
Used his iPad as a second monitor.
First night: $6,732 profit.
Starting capital: $68.
Total profit so far: $750,000.
Here's how it works๐
The bot scans over 50 markets simultaneously.
Syncs live BTC data from Binance every second.
Spots price errors before humans even notice.
The edge is pure speed + pattern recognition.
While traders stare at charts trying to predict the next move, his bot is already executing on mispricing across dozens of markets.
No guessing.
No emotions.
No hesitation.
Just Claude Code logic finding gaps that close in seconds.
He built the entire system in 48 hours:
โ Claude Code handles the trading logic
โ Binance API feeds real-time BTC data
โ iPad displays multi-market monitoring
โ Executes trades when arbitrage windows open
The system runs 24/7.
Every price dislocation = profit opportunity.
Most people are still trading manually, refreshing charts, second-guessing entries.
Meanwhile this 19 year old engineering student turned $68 into $750K by letting Claude Code do what humans can't: process 50 markets instantly and execute without fear.
Why are people still trading manually?
I'm giving away the exact Claude Code setup for free.
24 hours only.

space bunny was putting up impressive numbers before most people knew which model was behind it.
now we know it was powered by an earlier version of @MiniMax_AI's M3.1 Flash.
what makes this launch interesting isn't just the benchmark scores.
it's the combination of strong coding and agentic capabilities with 70% lower costs for agentic tasks compared with its predecessor.
because a model's value isn't just about how well it performs.
it's about how much useful work it can get done for the cost.
open weights are coming october 23, so developers will soon be able to explore the model beyond the hosted version.
MiniMax M3.1 Flash: Space Performance + Bunny Speed
๐๐ฐ Yes, Space Bunny - which has topped global leaderboards with 200T+ tokens - was an earlier version of M3.1 Flash.
๐ฐRedefining the performance economics of agentic AI. M3.1 Flash achieves frontier-level intelligence across key tasks such as Cowork (Automation-Bench: 62%; ALE: 30%), Coding (DeepSWE: 74%) and Visual Reasoning (BabyVision: 91%), at 1/3 the cost of M3 and 3x the speed.
API pricing (flat rate): $0.15 / $0.60 per 1M input/output tokens, with cache reads at $0.015 / 1M tokens.
Model weights will arrive on Oct 23.

Europe's AI ecosystem just got a boost.
The AI Builder Program is expanding across Europe.
$10M in support across compute, capital, and community.
Here's what's available for builders.
The AI Builder Program is expanding across Europe with $10M in total support across compute grants, capital, and community programs.
Are you building open models, developer tools, or applications on top of them? The program helps builders go from experimentation to scale-up through:
- Compute grants for selected projects in areas such as open models, coding agents, post-training, and evals
- VC connections to help turn open source projects into companies
- Hackathons and demo days with communities including @AITinkerers, @techeurope_ , and @esra_robotics to build, connect, and share your work
Weโre kicking off the European expansion this week at #NVIDIAGTC Berlin with @NVIDIAAI, @Accel, and a network of European VCs.

A lot of great AI projects never make it past the prototype stage.
Not because the ideas are bad, but because compute is expensive and turning a project into a company isnโt easy.
Nebius is expanding its AI Builder Program to Europe with $10M across compute grants, capital and community.
NVIDIA is involved, with Accel and other European VCs supporting founders.
Really good to see more support going to people actually building open-source AI.

AI agents need more than a good prompt. They need memory.
I tested EverOS Cloud with a fictional e-commerce debugging scenario. First, I saved the debugging experience. Later, I searched for it with a different question and retrieved the earlier context, including the suggested fix and regression test.
Thatโs the value of persistent memory in AI workflows: experiences can be saved and retrieved when theyโre needed again.
