I made this map with stamps and stencils, which are available at gamestamps.com. I may release digital versions of the stamps someday, but for now I'm focusing on paper and ink mapping tools, which can be used by hand.

So I'm working on a hexcrawl at the moment. Because it's a recognized format, I could gloss over a lot of the choices I make to create game material, because they are common assumptions. But instead let's examine them. First up, it's a zonecrawl, with zones shaped like hexes.
