I got a bit tired of Openclaw app's clutter, so I built my own little "Whatsapp for agents". littleguys is a Mac app for OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude Code, Codex and any ACP agent. See who's working or needs you, reply in a few keystrokes, approve in one click. Free and open-source 👉 littleguys.hervalicio.us/ 👻

Reading walls of text no longer makes sense. We need new ways of visualizing coding output
Anthropic’s report is basically saying humans are the bottleneck. “Amid this model-driven acceleration, human attention is a constant bottleneck. Claude sessions amount to around 80% idly waiting for human input. As one engineer put it, people are “bottlenecking the agents.”

Claude Desktop is slowly becoming a sort of "Microsoft Office of AI". ChatGPT is still basically a chat interface

In 2017-2018, a radicalized nonprofit called Project Veritas used spies on Tinder to seduce Twitter engineers, get them drunk and try to extract secrets. All they got was a poor dev bragging he could do shit he couldn’t. The Bay Area industrial espionage stories are wild buzzfeednews.com/article/cha…
BREAKING: OpenAI is warning its employees to watch out for spies, especially romantic ones, per WSJ The company has cautioned staff that someone trying to seduce them may likely be a “honeypot." Even strangers approaching them in everyday places could be gathering info.

This happens *so much* you wouldn’t believe
We discovered a sophisticated recording device that was hidden inside one of our offices. We used our models to understand the device and where it had come from, identifying that a specific employee had planted it a few days earlier. We referred the matter to the FBI, and we’re grateful to the agents and prosecutors who moved quickly to make an arrest. The FBI’s investigation is ongoing and we will continue to support their work. At this time, we have no indications of this individual inappropriately accessing or exfiltrating model weights, source code, or customer data. The employee was terminated. We take protecting our technology, data, and people seriously, and as a matter of national importance. Our security program is designed to protect against a wide range of threat actors, from insider risks to cybercriminals to nation states, and this case is an example of how AI can help address these sophisticated security threats.

The last few months have been the most FUN I had in my entire career as an engineer. I can finally TRY all the stuff my ADHD brain always wanted to do, but couldn't due to my limited IQ and typing speed. "Coding" pretty much replaced playing videogames.

I pointed Opus 5.5 to an old Genesis ROM and it decompiled it, replaced assets and built a playable game in around 6 hours, with zero intervention. herval.github.io/toejam-mod/

I may be going AI-psychotic, but ever since Opus 5.5, the only times I actually read any of the code I generate are when I'm working with parts of the system that are irreversible - database migrations, critical infra changes. And even in those cases, I had to maybe correct the agent once or twice in two weeks. Haven't read any frontend code at all for more than a week. Wild.

Introducing ManimGX, the 3D animation engine for agents. - Blazingly fast: 90× faster than ManimCE - Rust + wgpu core - Compatible with Manim's Python API - Lightweight: one pip install, no system dependencies Open source: github.com/academa-labs/mani… Docs: manimgx.academa.ai For 40 years we built GUIs for humans. Now we build APIs for agents. Try it. Paste this into your favorite coding agent: "Follow manimgx.academa.ai/llms.txt to make me a 3D animation of the solar system, and open it."
