Uli Hoeneß criticizes the timing of the international break: "We're the ones suffering the most from the long World Cup. Our players came back late and then the Bundesliga started on August 25. I think it's a disaster by UEFA to organize a two week break, only 4 weeks after the start of the season. We had 18 players travelling, so it's perfectly normal to lose our rhythm. The clubs must finally stand up for themselves because we pay the players, and not their national teams. And that's for a silly competition like the Nations League. It's the joke of the year" [BILD]

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is confident that Michael Olise and Harry Kane will stay at Bayern for a long time: "Both of them intend to stay at Bayern for a long time. I hope, and I’m also very confident, that Harry will extend his contract soon. And that Michael will be next. I would like to see him stay at Bayern for many more years. We at FC Bayern can consider ourselves very fortunate to have two players in Harry Kane and Michael Olise who are among the leading contenders for the Ballon d'Or. They are world-class players, and world class players don’t grow on trees - they have been such important figures for us for some time now." [@ransport]
