Yesterday brought good news for Starlink Direct to Cell too. TRAI proposed letting Indian mobile operators use their existing spectrum to connect phones directly to satellites. My nieces are struggling with numbers. Today I built an Android app to help them.
A few improvements coming but it’s almost done.
I built this using Grok Bot, directing it to use Grok Build, all in a few hours.
This will be free on Android Play store soon. No ads. No data.
I looked for web apps and android apps to help them and didn’t find anything close to what I wanted.
Something bigger along these lines coming soon.

Here's why.
Back in August, I emailed Stein-Helge Mundal, Chief Engineer for vehicle approval at Statens vegvesen.
I told him the tech is ready, the safety stats are overwhelming, and asked: when will Norway get FSD?
He pointed to EU rules. I replied that people will die needlessly because of bureaucracy - if this were a medicine, it would be approved the same day.
His written answer:
"Maybe we have also saved lives by delaying...."
And in that same email, his only "source": a link to a German anti-Musk documentary aired on NRK.
Not safety data. A biased documentary.
I tried other routes, but a complaint has to go through his employer first. So that's where it went.
