I once sat next to Amanda Seyfried at a coffee shop for 2 hours and almost didn’t notice because she was listening so sympathetically to her friend who had drama. I only noticed Amanda because she had the most beautiful dog. I will not accept slander of this woman!

NFL star Azeez Al-Shaair honored another Palestinian girl today, wearing the name ‘Maryam Ghanem’ on his eye black during the Houston Texans’ game. Maryam was saved from her burning home a couple days ago after watching both her parents burn to death after an Israeli airstrike. This marks five consecutive weeks of Al-Shaair using his platform to honor Palestinian children.

Oh I know he is the best person to talk shit with at work
He says the name just fine when he’s begging the Qataris for a personal jet or the Saudis for funding for his son-in-law’s private equity firm. Wonder what’s changed?

Studios could also make up lost DVD revenue by actually selling DVDs because I would buy them
Ben Affleck says the day will come when someone can order up an episode of Succession with a plot they have in mind. He says that could create an extra revenue stream to replace lost DVD revenue. Affleck says AI isn’t going to end the film and TV business, but certain parts of the industry will be dramatically affected: “I wouldn’t like to be in the visual effects business. They’re in trouble because what costs a lot of money is now gonna cost a lot less….And maybe it shouldn’t take a thousand people to render something.” But he says the cost savings will mean more television programming, not less: “You might be able to get two seasons of House of the Dragon in a year instead of one.”

I’d you’re shocked at the damage in France to an old town hall you’ll be horrified to hear what’s happened to the beautiful old buildings and heritage of the Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrians, Iraqis and Afghans

Deeply funny that the faithfuls who have actually identified traitors are so disliked that nobody wants to listen to them #traitorsus

It was 90+ degrees and although the worst nosebleed seats were like $79 on resale the parking was an extra $75
Talk about a fanbase spoiled by success. Look at all the empty seats in the wings of the upper deck for the Dodgers tonight. That is a disgrace. And it's the 6th inning and those seats are still empty.

This game was also played at 5pm PST on a Thursday which means Angelenos are generally still at work

People who say the Dodger fan base is spoiled / entitled / fairweather have obviously not spoken to an actual Dodger fan

Yesterday, I watched Naza. I did not go to learn what had happened in Gaza. I am from there. I am one of the victims of this war, one of its witnesses, and one of those who have paid a price that will not end when the war does. I did not need a film to tell me how entire neighborhoods were wiped away, how residential buildings were bombed with the people still inside them, or how families were forced to leave their homes without knowing where they were supposed to go. Nor did I need anyone to tell me about the famine. I lived through it twice, with all its humiliations, down to the smallest detail. Or about the starving people who were killed while trying to reach what were so absurdly called “food distribution centers.” I know all of this. I was there. Read the whole Thread below : #Naza @yuval_abraham

Outrageous
Sally Rooney's books can no longer be sold in Britain due to her support for Palestine Action. She refused to withdraw her support for the direct action group which targeted the Israeli arms industry, costing her the royalties from all of her UK sales. theguardian.com/uk-news/2026…

This is so interesting because around 2008-2012, South Caroline was popping off too It really is the go-to state in a recession
Good grief what is happening in South Carolina right now.

Americans who fantasize about moving to the UK and Europe don’t understand how much they would lose OTC-wise. We get melatonin and much stronger ibuprofen
the whole ibuprofen discourse is so crazy to me bc as a brit i can genuinely count on one hand the amount of times ive taken ibuprofen this year… so how could you possibly need a bottle of 1k pills???

No more long form LinkedIn posts, no more races to the most absurd hateful conclusion in the comments section, heavy reduction in American flag posts… give this man the Nobel Peace Prize
When we started responding to Russia’s operation against our data centers, and when our strikes reached Yandex’s data centers, it suddenly became a little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. A lot of people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, and fewer provocations. Because there were fewer bots. And it’s pretty clear where those bots were coming from – if they disappeared when Yandex went offline. This proves, again and again, that Europe is not the source of the problems. Europe is not the one making everything more difficult. Most importantly, we need people in America, every morning, when the day in Europe is already moving toward evening, to really see what is happening. To see the truth. From a speech at the Warsaw Security Forum. (3/3)
