Yet they start spewing every time someone suggests splitting league gates 50/50 between clubs to try and make it more competitive π€·

Looking at the bigger picture, I think last night highlighted a much wider problem with Scottish football.
Celtic fans will laugh at Rangers for failing to reach the Europa League. Rangers fans will laugh at Celtic for failing to reach the Champions League. The rest of Scotland will laugh at the Glasgow two for their European failures.
Meanwhile, thereβs every possibility Hearts, Hibernian and Motherwell could all fail to qualify for the Conference League.
At some point, we need to look beyond the rivalry and realise what that actually says about the state of our game.
When you look at some of the clubs and leagues now represented across the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League, itβs becoming increasingly obvious that Scottish football is falling behind at an alarming rate.
This isn't just a Celtic problem. It isn't just a Rangers problem. It's a Scottish football problem.
Our coefficient suffers, European qualification becomes more difficult, the financial gap gets bigger and our clubs find themselves having to navigate more and more qualifying rounds just to reach the competitions we once expected to be part of.
We can all laugh at each other, that's football and rivalry will always be rivalry but collectively, Scottish football is going backwards.
Something needs to change because we're falling behind at the speed of light, and that should worry every supporter in the country. ππ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ
