I’m sitting here this morning reading and looking at reports and press conferences about yesterday’s horrific school shooting in Bend, Oregon.
The police were there within three minutes. When they arrived they found ,three children and one teacher dead, others were injured. They also found the 16 year old shooter dead, shot by an armed person with a concealed carry permit. Think about how many more could have died without this persons intervention.
Some people are terrified of guns, I get it. Many people have carried guns or other weapons in the military, and have true combat experience. These folks are highly trained and combat experienced. Many people are active or retired law enforcement, once again highly trained and use to carrying a firearm every day. Some of these folks in the above groups never wish to carry a firearm again. Truly understood.
Others, after viewing our new country realize it is much more dangerous than it was 30 years ago. Radicalized people intent on terrorizing the population, a large mental health crisis, and catch and release courts, make the situation worse every day.
Now you have people that have the training, have the means, and have decided that they will be their families and their own FIRST RESPONDER, they carry every day, everywhere, concealed, you never know who they are or where they are. But they have made the decision to be aware and be prepared should something untoward happen. Just like in Bend Or. yesterday.
The person that ended the shooting yesterday might catch some legal heat because he brought a firearm onto and inside school. It depends on the jurisdiction. I shudder to think what would happen to that HERO in Massachusetts. Even so those that have made the decision to be their own first responder would likely make the same decision.
The reason for this long missive is my opposition on question #9. Vote NO ON #9.
Massachusetts has a long history of tough gun laws, it also has a great history of making it very difficult and sometimes illegal to carry a weapon while complying with the law.
This law, 135, is unconstitutional IMHO. That is for people much smarter than me to decide.
This law as written makes criminals out of law abiding citizens who chose to be armed for the protection of their family, and ,yes, as a sidelight, innocent children going about their day in a GUN FREE ZONE.
Surprise surprise, this law does NOTHING, I say again, NOTHING to those disposed to criminal behavior and carrying illegal weapons. It only affects those who already try to obey the law.
It is a horrible law, shame on Governor Healey for not only signing it, but putting an emergency preamble on it to avoid the petition to trash the law prior to implementation.
VOTE NO ON QUESTION 9, VOTE HEALEY OUT.
Off my soapbox for now, and thanks for listening.
This just shows you what a phony she is.
TDS ON STEROIDS.
Maura is not gonna like this one bit. Definitely don’t repost this. We wouldn’t want it to get around especially during an election season. 😉 #mapoli #mapolitics

If you want Mike Minogue for Governor in Massachusetts! Please share this post!
I had the honor of being invited to a sit down meeting with candidate for Governor Mike Minogue. Thank you to the Eboard of the NEPBA for the invite.
I found Mike to be very intelligent and focused on fixing our very broken state. He certainly has the passion and drive to move this state ahead.
His business and military acumen are beyond reproach.
I urge my friends and family to vote for MIKE MINOGUE for Governor. I believe he is the only one that can get us out of the Healey morass.
And:
VOTE NO ON QUESTION 9.
Be well.

I’m honored to earn the support of the New England Police Benevolent Association (NEPBA).
“At a time when the men and women of law enforcement are being asked to do more with fewer resources, when departments across Massachusetts continue to confront serious recruitment and retention challenges, and when public safety professionals too often feel that their voices are an afterthought on Beacon Hill, Massachusetts needs a Governor who understands that safe communities begin with supporting the people who protect them. NEPBA believes Mike Minogue is that leader,” the organization said.
Thank you, Chris Ryan, Tom Turco, and the NEPBA, for your trust, courage, and support. 🇺🇸

I’m pretty sure the Demorats will start saying AI will kill everyone that goes to vote.

Ok Flock haters. Flock saved 2 lives today by alerting us of a tag of someone who had threatened to shoot a woman & her child. The person who heard the threat then alerted us. We found the car & the guy was armed with a gun at the time he was stopped. The woman & child are at least 2 people who love Flock cameras today. Important to note:
None of my ex girlfriends or wives were affected in this matter.
Thank you✌️👮♂️
I wish that I had a Republican Senator that I could yell at while he/ she is on another vacation. Sadly I live in Commiechusetts and Republicans are banned here. 😡
So DJT hosted a party at the WH, left there, got on AF1, and flew to France. All within a 24 hour period.
Joe would have a had a LID for a month, at least.
God bless Trooper Kevin Trainor, Massachusetts State Police. EOW 5/6/2026 youtu.be/i1swfmI7mjs
Seems like the Demorats are real quiet today. Perhaps another “aw shucks” kind of day.
Keep in mind they were doing backflips when they thought the President was in the hospital.
Could they have been rooting for a failed rescue?
You bet they were . Disgusting phonies.
Wake-up America. They want total failure so they can continue their power to take everything you have.
Sound familiar.
If the Senate goes on another 2 week vacation tomorrow, the TSA officers should immediately leave the checkpoints, strike or go home sick. Shut it all down until the idiots do something.
The kabuki theater has gone on long enough.
Only one member of the Commiechusetts Congressional delegation voted to release the names of members of Congress who used the slush fund to settle their lawsuits. His name is Jim McGovern, the only time I have ever agreed with him on anything.
The rest of the delegation showed to all of us taxpayers what turds they really are.
Vote them all out.
