Michael Carrick backing Marcus Rashford to rediscover scoring form for @ManUtd. Am told Rashford still having regular treatment on injury sustained in World Cup, which is affecting performance. "He obviously had a slight injury where he pulled out with England, he had to manage that a little bit. He's doing some good things and putting himself in good positions but not quite getting that little bit of a break. If he keeps doing the right things, he will get the rewards in the end."

🚨🗣️ - Ander Herrera tells the story of why he left Manchester United in 2019:
"When I won the United's Player of the Year award, I expected the club to come to ME.
"I said to my agent, 'Whatever they offer is going to be okay.. I WANT to sign because I'm so happy here.'
"I was on holiday saying to my agent, 'Did they call you?' 'No, not yet.' 'Next week, did they call you?' 'No, they didn't, Ander.'
"The season starts, I was playing, they did NOT call. What KILLED me was when they sent me a letter saying they are automatically triggering my fifth year here.
"They didn't even CALL me to say, 'Ander, we want you to stay.' I was so happy, giving everything, but my heart was BROKEN." 😔💔

🚨🚨 Simon Stone: “You personally need results!”
Carrick: “I don’t need results. I don’t need results. We all need results. It’s not about me. Manchester United is a lot bigger than any individual. It’s bigger than me, it’s bigger than any player & it’s bigger than anyone else who works at this football club. It always has done! It’s not about me so please I don’t go into everyday work thinking it’s about me. It’s about this football club. What we stand for, what we live for & the history & things we need to live. That’s what drives us!”
