On this episode of Duke’s Download, I sit down with Ross Mathews @helloross to talk about career longevity, weight loss, LGBTQ+ visibility, marriage, and what it really takes to reinvent yourself in public.
We get into:
✨ His journey from The Tonight Show to Chelsea Lately, The Drew Barrymore Show, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and 90 Day Fiancé Tell All
✨ Grief, growth, and staying connected to your younger self
✨ Why queer visibility in media still matters
This isn’t just a career recap — it’s about staying relevant, staying visible, and staying yourself.
And believe me Ross is the S%$T- A real life Icon.

“Drag has always been important. It’s always fought the system since the early, early days, and it’s crazy that we’re still fighting. We’ve never backed down from a fight. Drag’s always been protest. Ru says, ‘Every time I bat my eyelashes, I’m making a political statement.’ I think being openly queer is always a political statement whether you like it or not. The personal is political. By existing and living in your truth, you are by nature political.” -- "RuPaul's Drag Race" judge Ross Mathews
