A 3D printer should be part of ever modern household. It's so convenient. You get things immediately and cheaper and custom.
Need a luggage tag today? Print a thick, durable tag with your info.
Need a bookend because you just filled in a new shelf? Print a Romanesque column.
Want a wallet clip because you want to go on a walking trail, and do it lightly? Print one for 20 cents worth of supplies.
It's also great for kids and their education.

AI was supposed to make us work less
I've never been this tired in my life
most days I have up to 10 agents running at the same time. one fixing a bug, one writing pages, one refactoring something I already forgot I asked for, 3 other I have no idea what they are doing but i suppose i ask it?
and I jump from conversation to conversation all day
compared to 5 years ago, I probably context switch 100x more
by the end of the day my brain is fried. completely toasted. nothing left, not even for the people I love
I call it the fried brain effect
thought it was just me but almost every founder I talk to lately says the exact same thing
we got superpowers, and somehow the pressure only went up. if you can ship 10x more, you feel like you have to ship 10x more. every single day
I don't have a solution
honestly I have no idea where this goes from here
anyone else feeling this?

i've been properly back on X for 2 weeks after barely using it for years.
lots of new people here, so probably time for a reintro:
> born + raised in the Netherlands 🇳🇱
> dropped out of uni, eventually went back and finished a marketing degree in 2017
> started building in 2020. grew this account to ~10k followers when it was still actually called Twitter lol
> even ran 3 cohorts with my friend @hellojohnpaul in 2021 where we helped other business owners grow their personal brand
> eventually went all-in on LinkedIn instead. spent 4.5+ years there and grew to 100k+ followers
> sold multiple 6 figures worth of products, programs, coaching + services, always without a sales call
> worked with 225+ founders and tracked $3.5M+ in client revenue across the businesses we helped
> built that business with my best friend for the last 2.5 years. we went through basically every model possible: 1:1 coaching, group programs, services and eventually software
> recently decided to step away from that partnership and build on my own again (full story soon)
> i've travelled to 35+ countries and somehow ended up spending most of the last couple years in Latin America
> Medellín has become my home for the last 2 years, and spent a good amount of time in Buenos Aires + Brazil this year, and right now back in Colombia
> learning Spanish along the way. still get humbled every single day, especially as we're staying with my in-laws right now 😂
few more random facts:
> i run ~50km/week + lift almost every day
> basically trying to be jacked and fast at the same time
> coffee is probably 30% of my personality
> i love building online businesses, travelling and testing how much work i can get done from places with stupidly good views
after years on LinkedIn, coming back to X genuinely feels like finding the internet again
i'm back here to build, write, meet interesting people and document whatever the next chapter turns into.
if you're building something cool: tell me what you're working on below 👇

Half the books you were "forced" to read in high school are actually spectacular, you just didn't have the emotional maturity to understand them yet.

All joking aside, Miami has a branding problem, not a brains problem. I reject the idea that intelligence is limited to STEM labs or "top-tier universities." That's snobbery. Anyone from Miami knows the city is full of sharp, hard-working people. Exiles who rebuilt from nothing, immigrants who built businesses in a second language. But that isn't what Miami sells, and we should be honest about that. Tell someone you're from Miami and they say "ooooh" or "what's that like?" They think of South Beach, not Kendall.
I made my uncle a cortado and apparently he was thinking about it for a whole week. He bought the same coffee beans and then the same machine. I think I reached a new mastery.
Shifting from 'AI' to 'superintelligence' can sound like a forced, cheesy rebrand. But I think the change is warranted.
We've had AI for decades. This new iteration is different in kind, and far more consequential.
