A look back at the XRPL Africa x @RedotsClub community event on Friday, 25th September, 2026, in Benin City.🇳🇬 We learnt, connected, played, laughed and had a really good time together. From learning more about @RedotPay /@RedotsClub and XRPL ecosystems to getting new users onboarded, the room was filled with founders, builders, traders, creators, educators and curious minds ready to connect. And of course, there was plenty of food and drinks, games, conversations, lots of merch, and giveaways going around.🎁 This is community.🤝🏽 Here’s a glimpse of how we spent the evening.📸🎥

BatchV1_1 is now activating on the XRP Ledger.🔥 It currently has 29/35 validators voting in support, with 82.86% consensus. If support stays above the required 80% threshold for the full 14-day period, the amendment is set for activation on September 29. So, what exactly does this mean? You can now bundle up to 8 transactions together and have them execute as one coordinated operation. For example, a swap can involve sending one asset, receiving another, and paying a fee without having to handle each action as a separate transaction. This opens up some interesting possibilities for: • Atomic swaps • NFT-to-NFT trades • NFT + token swaps • DeFi applications • Apps that need multiple actions to happen together And yes, this is BatchV1_1, the corrected version of the original Batch Amendment. The amendment is currently in activation. Something to watch if you're building on XRPL. Follow updates the amendment: xrpscan.com/amendment/BatchV…

Did You Know? Every transaction on the XRP Ledger burns a tiny amount of $XRP forever. No validator receives the fee. Instead, it's permanently destroyed, helping protect the network from spam while slowly reducing $XRP's total supply over time. Did you already know this?👀👇
