A labour of love. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it. I read, watched, listened widely just so I could articulate some of the things I’ve been pondering for months! ❤️

it only seems like a lie to people who can’t fathom that happiness can exist outside of romantic relationships
I love thissss!!
I used to think this way and didn't do it for many years, until my first one with the late Father RW Dundon at UNIBEN. I didn't know when I started crying. He wanted to see me afterward, and I ran away. Pride came back.
I did it yesterday, and the tears came back, and I recognized what they were—submission and true remorse.
The sacrament of reconciliation is an act of humility that strips us of our pride, which is the deadliest root of most sins.
You don't know everything you did, and that third party isn't just there to absolve your sins with God’s authority; he is also there to share your burdens and remind you of things you forgot. It is OK to be human and relate openly with another human.
I met a new priest randomly who had come specifically to confess one person. That is how serious Catholic priests take it. He left his parish to come to Christ the King in Accra yesterday for one person. I was fortunate to meet him, as there was no regular confession. I now realize why.
He told me something I didn't know. He told me about a saint who confessed seven times a day, and people didn't understand why. I realize now that it was his own way of strengthening his relationship with God and removing pride completely.
Pride is our primal sin, and confession strips us of it first, before anything else. That is more important than anything you can remember, and you asked God personally for forgiveness. Removing that pride is the first fruit of the sacrament.

This is also another type of psychosis that women are forced into. When the patriarchy doesn’t work for you, you do your best to conform by lying to yourself that the problem you were experiencing was that you were not “lady like”. This woman has described herself as disgusting before so I personally feel the devils she’s fighting are obvious. As she couldn’t beat them, she’s decided to join them.

I keep seeing Polish politicians jump on the immigration bandwagon, and it’s almost entertaining. If immigration isn’t an issue thanks to your policies, why do you keep bringing it up? Your own prosecutors just revealed that data harvested from Polish phones with Israeli Pegasus spyware was accessible to its Israeli maker. Who knows what sensitive information leaked? That should be the priority. But it’s also rich, because I’m old enough to remember how many Poles migrated to other parts of Europe and were treated terribly. I’m old enough to remember Poland being used to push Brexit sentiment in the UK. I’m old enough to remember Poles being bullied, abused, and denied jobs in Britain. So watching them recycle the same talking points once used against them is pathetic.
To usłyszeli ode mnie liderzy Europy w Brukseli.

The irritating aspect of people presuming marriage will build wealth among Black families is how contingent it is on discipline & trust.
So many people lack discipline and vision BEFORE marriage. The results can be even worse combined w/ a lack of discipline, education & trust.

Rioting would be impossible in London now. Soon as you leave your house 3 of your neighbours ring door bells have already called the police.
