IN CASE YOU MISSED THIS:
This Project was created 4 years ago. We decided to share the case study this year. What amazes me is how fresh and clean it still looks even tho we have grown in our skills.
They say if your brand is not created to last for a longer time, it will never be able to sustain its life span.
Project is live here on Behance : behance.net/gallery/22352141…

BTS of ep1; Roger. season 1 of Tori Tori animated series. Incase you missed it. Check previous post
TORI TORI! (Tori!)
Tales by Moonlight raised me. The Area Show, House of Ajebo and South Park showed me a story can make you laugh and still hold up a mirror to society. Story first, always.
So I made a series where animals tell Nigeria's tori.
Episode 1: "Roger". At this checkpoint, hope na contraband. 🦒🚐
Who you don meet for checkpoint? 👇🏾
New episode every week.

What's we're building at MDX 🔥🔥🔥
The team and I at MDX @md_xperience have been quietly building something for Africa's technical creatives.
A home with the support and infrastructure we've always needed: access, visibility, real utility, and a way to celebrate and spotlight our own people and community. Built by us, for us, without waiting for permission.
When the MDX Network web app launches, it will feel native to how we actually work and create real value for African technical creatives, especially in times like these.
This is one of my favourite sections from the community site: the badges. Badges celebrate the person, not a single piece of work, and they're chosen by MDX curators. So I brought it to life, every hover, every click, built with @rive_app . Honestly, the execution came out flawless.
We'll need all the support we can get at launch: retweets, onboarding, recommendations, feedback. And if you're a partner or investor who believes in Africa's creative economy, my DMs are open.
I pray God rewards our good works.
Anticipate. 🔥

The Close is out now.
I wrote this book for the version of me who lost deals he should have won. I had the talent and the work was good. I just didn’t know how to turn a conversation into a signed agreement.
Growing up, little books like The Brand Gap, Logos That Last and Building a StoryBrand shaped how I saw design. The Close is my attempt to give something back: a field manual for the business side we were never taught.
Inside:
→ How to find leverage when you feel you have none
→ How to write a proposal that gets a decision, not “we’ll get back to you”
→ How to price, trade and negotiate without losing yourself
→ How one signed deal becomes the proof that wins the next
If you’ve ever sent a proposal into silence, this book is for you.

New brand identity and broadcast system for xdyaps, the Lagos creator unpacking music, fashion, art and entertainment, one hot take at a time.
His whole show is opinions backed by evidence, so the brand works the same way. The name became the mascot: turn “XD” on its side and it laughs. Meet Yappy, a pixel speech bubble with nine moods, built in 2D and 3D.
And because I’ve experienced His faithfulness today, even when trusting Him didn’t seem logical, I can trust Him tomorrow, even when I cannot see how things will work out.
My faith is no longer just about believing God can do it. It’s about knowing I can trust Him to be faithful, regardless of how He chooses to do it.
Unconditionally. 💙
Other times, He simply gives me the grace, strength, and wisdom to accomplish something I once thought was beyond me, all by myself.
I’m learning that not every season is meant to teach me how to depend on people. Some seasons are meant to teach me how to depend on God.
Sometimes, the people I would naturally count on, the ones whose capacity I trust and whose track records give me confidence, become unavailable. Sometimes, even on a project with someone I believe in, things don’t go as expected.
And when I’ve exhausted every option, pushed every button, and done everything within my power, that’s when God begins to work through angles I could never have anticipated, in ways I could never take credit for.

Lately, God has been giving me more opportunities to put my faith to work.
I’m beginning to understand that some of these opportunities aren’t just about what I’m building or achieving. They’re about learning to trust Him, especially when I’m faced with projects, ideas, or movements I once thought I couldn’t pull off alone, or at least needed someone to encourage me through.

This thing has become a ritual at this point. Staying up late, creating magic I probably wouldn’t have believed I could pull off on my own a year ago. And somehow, the act of creating itself has become both the reward and the motivation.
Then there’s the music playlist, adding another layer of stimulation to the whole experience. 🎧
I’m just glad I’ve found my groove again. My joy for creating. My excitement for making things that remind me of what I’m capable of.
I’m finding myself in the process all over again.
Made to move. 💙
