In 2018, OUCHHH unveiled POETIC AI in Paris — one of the world’s largest AI-driven immersive art exhibitions, transforming 3,500 m² into a universe of machine intelligence, science, and art through 146 projectors. At its core: 20 million lines of data drawn from scientific papers and books by some of humanity’s greatest minds — Albert Einstein, Galileo Galilei, Stephen Hawking, and other visionaries who forever changed our understanding of the universe. Ouchhh X @MercedesBenz Where Human Intelligence Meets Machine Intelligence — The Mercedes-Benz CLA Real-Time AI Data Cognitive Painting by Ouchhh At the global launch of the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA in Istanbul, we created a unique AI-driven neuroaesthetic experience that explores the emotional connection between humans and machines. In this artwork, human intelligence and machine intelligence converge. As participants gently touched the new CLA, their emotional responses were captured through EEG (brainwave) sensors — transforming real human feelings into living digital art. Simultaneously, we integrated the car’s own design, engineering, and aerodynamic data, allowing the AI to interpret both human emotion and machine intelligence as one seamless visual language. The result was a real-time AI data cognitive sculpture — a poetic dialogue between emotion and technology, between heartbeats and algorithms, seen through the eyes of artificial intelligence. From Brainwaves to Digital Expression Each guest’s neural activity – their subconscious reaction to the Negroni and their memories – was interpreted by custom software and rendered into a unique piece of generative art. These visual and auditory experiences rippled across the space in real time, making the invisible visible: emotion, memory, connection. No two artworks were the same. Because no two stories, or brain responses, ever are. IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE! A Living Archive of Human Feeling Before leaving, each participant received a digital version of their EEG-generated art – a visual memento of a moment shared over Campari. Anonymized and abstracted, it also became part of a larger interactive digital archive, showcasing the emotional power of storytelling and taste. This was not just an exhibition. This unique performance, created using live brain data and advanced AI algorithms, was an unforgettable moment that redefined the intersection of art, science, and technology on the TED stage. Ouchhh collaborated with amazing composer and musician @phoebeviolet.music . TEDAI also marked a milestone as Europe’s very first TED event dedicated to exploring the immense potential of AI. During my talk, I had the incredible opportunity to share the epic 15-year journey of Ouchhh Studio. From our beginnings, driven by a passion for blending art and data, to becoming a pioneering force in AI-driven art, it’s been a path filled with many world-firsts and groundbreaking achievements. We have always strived to push the boundaries of what’s possible, whether it's integrating AI into public spaces, turning data into immersive experiences, or collaborating with some of the world’s leading institutions and brands. Sharing this journey with the audience at TEDAI was a deeply rewarding experience, and we were honored to be in the company of such brilliant minds. Standing alongside distinguished speakers like Raia Hadzel, VP Research at Google DeepMind, and Rama Akkiraju, VP of Enterprise AI & Automation at Nvidia, was a true privilege.
