🚨 Beware New SBI Debit Card Holders 💳
If you have a newly issued SBI Debit Card (including Virtual ones), they are by default disabled for E-Commerce transactions.
Infact, even when you try to enable the Ecom transactions via SBI YONO app or via net banking, it still does not work.
The only way to make it work is to visit a branch and request for this because in the system, the radio buttons against the Ecom transactions is neither enabled nor disabled in their systems.
As a matter of fact, the Bank staff is also not aware, but luckily there was one Bank staff who recently had a physical card issued and face the similar problem. When they called their SME to find out what happened, they figure out the system is not by default, enabling the Ecom transaction on their side.
This is a serious bug, which needs to be addressed by @TheOfficialSBI to avoid such inconvenience to general public.
