I have been looking into how AI projects are funding developers. And out of the 29 programs I checked, only 10 give grants.
Out of the 29 programs I checked, only 10 give grants. The rest give credits, compute or hackathon prizes.
And out of those 10, 7 are crypto foundations.

meta has never cracked brainrot the way tiktok has

there was a time i could do this. now i need a podcast on a topic i don't care about just to fall asleep :(
JUST IN: Japan holds competitive sleeping tournament, offering $15,000 to whoever can fall asleep fastest & sleep the deepest during a 90-minute contest.
This would be interesting if it actually works.
His idea: use AI to reverse-engineer the products we use every day, build free, open-source alternatives, and cut into those companies’ revenue.
But two problems I foresee:
1. AI might make building these alternatives easier, but who pays to maintain the open source software?
2. Coordination. How do you get millions of people to trust a free alternative and switch to it?
at this point are there people who don’t use AI like everyday?
i’m surprised to see my mum using the meta AI frequently on whatsapp
what else is everyone using their grok @bot for?
I’m really loving it so far!
why is the option to create an environment in codex so hidden that even chatpgt couldn’t help me find it, but claude did
soon enough, giving ai agents access to your linkedin, x, and other accounts will be normal, and that scares me
I have one Ghost Pass if any of my mutuals are interested in trying the
@aave app
it’s been a while since a fintech app got me this curious, and i’ve been excited to try Aave App. thanks @parisrouz for the invite.
as a kenyan, a lot of the savings products i’ve seen win by solving the behavioural side of saving, through features like goal savings, locking savings or group/chama savings.
what interests me about Aave App is almost the opposite. my money stays accessible, but 6.25% yield on dollar savings is hard to find locally, and that alone is a pretty good incentive for me to leave my savings there.
