last week, someone had asked of me a favor out of extreme desperation. he'd already asked everyone else that he knew and was sorry to ask, but there was nowhere else to turn to. his power was to be cut if he didn't pay the bill that day. he just needed a quick loan and he'd pay me back with some extra at the end of the week the amount wasn't really that much, relatively speaking. i wasn't afraid he would ghost or anything, he's been around for a long while.. but even if he did, it wouldn't be too big of a deal anyway. i've been in extremely tight financial situations before too, even as recently as earlier this year, so i understand how insanely brave it is to admit that things are not going well, and more importantly, that you need help. pride and ego easily get in the way in the end, he was able to sort everything out without my help. i hate to see others struggling and suffering. i hope that everyone has the strength and support to get themselves out of difficult situations. ultimately, may they not just survive, but thrive
