🧵1/3 Noticed this young pigeon trapped in an empty building in #Gloucester last Friday. Its mother is ouside trying to get to it. Both clearly distressed. Phoned @GloucesterCity Council who won't give me the contact number of building owner, instead telling me to call the #RSPCA

2/3 Phoned RSPCA to be told owner must be given 24hrs notice before they can act and to contact @GloucesterCity Council. All I've done since Friday is send countless emails and make phone call after phone call and not one person is helping. Just passing me back and forth.

I remember as a kid, 'Santa' giving me one of these for Xmas one year. Fuck knows how he (my parents, yeah I knew) managed to afford it but I loved it. I've not even thought about #Raleigh bikes for years but am saddened to read it has almost come to the end of the road. ☹️
