You know i dont get the issue of companies ditching disks. Like i use to play games that would pause the game and will ask "insert disk 2 to contineu" size isnt the issue. Hell you can even do a multi part installation process if needed to.

Researchers at SDU Soft Robotics developed a worm-inspired limbless soft robot with inflatable muscles and a flexible kirigami skin.
It can crawl, turn, rotate, and avoid obstacles using controlled body movements and sensors.
The robot could be useful for search and rescue, inspection, and exploration.
