The White Sox will very likely finish the season with the most runs in the American League. They lead the Yankees by 29.
Props to Chris Getz and his team for building this.

Dear Kansas City Royals,
Please beat the shit out of the Guardians for the next three days and discourage them so thoroughly that they can't recover for the playoffs.
Thank You,
White Sox Fans

I see people being very ugly and mean online this morning. Football is an emotional sport. Sorry a guy shows his emotions. We should applaud such a thing in today's day and age.
I stand with you, Ed. Always one of my favs.
Ed played to a completely sold out arena, gave a compassionate speech, and got a standing ovation with his new musicians; people of integrity who stood by him amidst an avalanche of completely unjustified abuse.
Perhaps most importantly, as he says below, he is now left with an understanding of who his true friends are. This is a clarity I know all too well and that I'm most grateful for.
In every way that truly matters, he won. The authoritarian bullies lost. Good for him.

Bill Maher just weighed in on the Macklemore saga and dropped a heavy dose of common sense on the whole thing.
Maher put it perfectly:
MAHER: “Is anyone looking for anything of this at a concert? I mean, do I really need a lecture on politics of any stripe, right when the molly is kicking in?”
This is one of those 80/20 issues.
People are sick of going to a concert to hear their favorite music and instead getting preached to about politics by entertainers who have no more expertise on the subject than the people sitting in the crowd.
He didn’t stop with Macklemore...Maher also took a few shots at Bruce Springsteen for doing the exact same thing.
MAHER: “I don’t want Bruce Springsteen to do it either. Why is he doing this? What’s the point? Because the people who agree with him, agree with him, but there’s a lot of people, I bet, who are Trump voters who like Bruce Springsteen and always have.”
“He looks like one of them, he’s a working class guy. Now they have to go to the concert like, okay, I still like the music, but, you know, really? I don’t love you as much, Mr. Boss.”
Bang on take from Bill.

Mike Vasil is throwing for the first time since Tommy John surgery. I believe the whole team is on the field to watch.
"I get beat up for this all the time."
Jay Leno says he refuses to turn his comedy into a partisan political lecture, arguing his job is to make audiences laugh, including people who support President Trump.
The former "Tonight Show" host says he and Johnny Carson "prided ourselves on making fun of both sides equally," and he continues performing for audiences with a wide range of political views.
