What about the ios app? Would be great!
(re)Introducing the Pebble Appstore! It’s up and running with all your favourite watchfaces and apps.
We even built some new features like link previews when you share and similar apps. Check it out apps.repebble.com

Amazing
Introducing DolphinGemma, an LLM fine-tuned on many years of dolphin sound data 🐬 to help advance scientific discovery. We collaborated with @dolphinproject to train a model that learns vocal patterns to predict what sound they might make next. It’s small enough (~400M params) to run directly on Pixel 9 phones used in the ocean! A very cool step toward enabling interspecies communication.

When will AI systems be able to carry out long projects independently?
In new research, we find a kind of “Moore’s Law for AI agents”: the length of tasks that AIs can do is doubling about every 7 months.
I would like to see
a. unpack details / dig deeper
b. compare contrary views
Never before has there been such an accessible knowledge work agent freely available, as Perplexity Deep Research. What are some other demos you would like to see with it? Please comment here. Also, what are the pain points you're seeing today? We will look into supporting a "give me a super long report" if length is what you seek (I personally don't think it's a good proxy for quality of an answer, but most people seem to care about it, so we should support it). The bug on having to wait till answer finishes will be fixed. Few people pointed wanting more academic sources to be used - something we can fix at least for queries where those matter. Feel free to comment.

Any plans to get an iOS back to the AppStore?
some late night fun!!! @richinfante got the pebble SDK building on modern (cough python3) MacOS and linux. He even got the emulator working through Rosetta on arm! Took ~5 mins to set up. What a joy going thru the multitude of open source Pebble apps on apps.rebble.io

60+ EU companies announce the EU AI Champions Initiative.
Is Europe finally waking up?
na klar!
As you know, I live in Germany. And in Germany, we are sorely underserved when it comes to AI.
There are hardly any discussions, there is no real community. My idea for German users here on X: Should we start a German community to discuss how we can bring AI to Germany?
Should we get together and form a lobby, an association? I think we are the only avant-garde that can ensure that Germany is not completely left behind.

Wie ihr wisst, lebe ich in Deutschland. Und in Deutschland sind wir absolut unterversorgt, was KI angeht.
Kaum Diskussionen, keine richtige Community.

Apple team shows self-driving AI can learn entirely by practicing against itself - no human driving data needed.
In testing, their system averages 17.5 years of continuous driving between incidents, far surpassing humans. All through self-play, not imitation.

Within 24 hours, OpenAI's Deep Research has been replicated by an open-source version that already scores 54% on the same validation set OpenAI's scored 67%.
Thank you for your persistence!
