13 days ago, I lost a close friend. A person I can only describe as being joyous, funny and full of life. I did not know of the burden or turmoil in his mind that drove him to despair. Take care of both body and soul-of yourselves and those you love. We will miss you dear friend

There needs to be systematic referral for advanced HF care in #ACHD patients to improve these outcomes. I believe we can move the needle in this population by timely acceleration in care. @ACTION4HF is on it! Check out referral reccs for #CHD!

Fresh from the oven today. Percutaneous ASD closure of secundum ASD with floppy segment done by the master @AlkashkariWail & Dr Krimly. After evaluating defect in multiple planes and in 3D with @AlrahimiJ went with size 26 mm Amplatzer device. No residual shunt.
