I’m seeing a lot of people lately expressing some variation of: "Why tf would I hold coins anymore? They all go to zero every time."
I actually agree. Most projects aren't worthy of being long-term holds. However, you make a ton of money when you find and hold one that is.
Typically, these are projects led by talented builders in markets with massive potential. They have solid fundamentals but remain overlooked or entirely undiscovered.
In my opinion, one of those rare projects is @buypurps.
It revolutionizes the concept of memecoins and what they represent. By backing coins with real assets in the form of perps, you’re no longer trading an asset that moves purely on narrative. The underlying asset acts as a cushion during moments of high volatility.
Purps represents the intersection of memecoins and perpetuals, which are two of the highest-energy markets in crypto. It unifies these ideas elegantly, making both better and more approachable to the masses.
The team is also determined to make the platform's UX more intuitive. We are already seeing builders realize what this new primitive unlocks, and I fully expect to see exciting projects built on the Purps infrastructure soon.
I see many catalysts ahead and am looking forward to a repricing in the near future.
On Purps, a coin's fees don't go to a wallet or a simple airdrop. They go into trades on Hyperliquid.
Those trades are up over $58,000.
That's money pulled out of the perp markets and into memecoins. Not from the holders. From the other side of the trade.
Purps API v2 is live.
Launch a coin on Purps, Pump or Pons with one request. You get back unsigned transactions, you sign, it's live. Point the coin's fees at a strategy in the same call and we run it.

During violent price drops, holding a solana:6GmAFSYs4gk3FDao5FzzySQpPZaWsa4rUJHacpMpUNgx ecosystem coin like $GP leaves you with very little as volume inevitably dies. There is nothing backing the asset except a fading narrative and transient volume.
Currently, $GP sits at a $7M market cap with only $11K in pending distributions (left pic).
In contrast, $PURPS sits at a sub-$700K market cap with $56K in its vault (right pic). That capital is actively deployed on Hyperliquid to generate additional yield, which is then used to buy back and burn the token.
Would you rather invest in a static reflection token, or an economic engine that perpetually generates profit from trading fees?
Make it make sense.

Perp wars with @buypurps
A coin that trades itself and buys itself back, with no team wallet touching a button.
$PURPS turns a token's own creator fees into a fully automated perp-trading engine that skims profits and burns (or pays out) supply on a loop.
I've been digging in, here's what I found 🧵

I’ve been trying to explain this repeatedly, but it easily gets overlooked. People are so focused on perps as a mechanical instrument that they miss how this completely flips memecoins 180 degrees.
Imagine a Hyperliquid account as the leanest business you could have. It doesn’t produce goods and services. Instead, it takes capital as an input and produces capital as an output through efficient, speculative bets across the market.
By backing memecoins with perps, @buypurps has squeezed a whole-ass business into the middle of the model. It turns what was essentially ponzinomics into a system that generates EXTERNAL revenue. This means the yield comes from actual market profits, not just trading activity and fees on the coin itself.
Are you guys getting it?

I would recommend not investing in projects where the dev treats you like an idiot. You don’t just find this out three days after it happened. I don’t think I need to waste any more time explaining why this is an obvious lie.
In order to take profit, that is realize a portion of the unrealized PNL, we partially close the position so this means equally exposure will reduce, there was a bug with the perpspad keeper that caused the TP to fire too many times in a row and decrease the position rapidly consecutively, the margin has been restored to its current exposure before the errors happened
I'm currently working on optimizing a great take profit mechanism that maximizes profits but also maintains the position margin so profit from the upside as all assets are sending for the bullrun
Everything is onchain and verifiable

Can anyone at @perpspad explain why collateral was cut from $52.7k to $14.3k on Sept 18 while the perp was underwater, followed by $19,600 drained on Sept 19 straight to the founder's wallet to trade memecoins?
Is that what you guys meant by a "big week"? Big week for the founder's wallet, maybe.
Onchain analysis proves the creator took $46.1k, pocketing 28% of all fees instead of 15%. The perp backing is fake, as every dollar of fee revenue put into the position was pulled back out.
Happy to send the exact transactions / receipts.
$PERPSPAD
Fraction of the volume, nearly the same amount burned as the big guys.
All thanks to leveraged profits.

A lot of people still aren’t seeing why this is actually significant.
Traditional launchpads like Pumpfun make all their money from fees on volume. It doesn’t matter if that volume comes from the 100th rug of the week or a real runner. They get paid either way.
Purps makes money from fees and perp profits. This is the first time they’ve shown that perp profits can contribute more to buybacks than the platform’s fee share.
That makes the platform more capital efficient. Every dollar that comes in can be put to work as margin in the perps market instead of just being extracted as fees.
More importantly, it aligns incentives. Creators with real ideas (and holders of those coins) benefit from ongoing volume and winning strategies, not just from farming the curve and disappearing.

When the only thing a project (@PerpsPadfun) talks about is the KOLs who are invested in it or talking about it with no mention of the actual product, you know it is all a facade and that you are about to lose a ton of money.
@buypurps, on the other hand, is focused on building a product that people actually want to use and share organically. That means being hyper focused on crafting the right features and framing so this new category of perp-backed token is intuitive to the masses.
Been trading Memecoins since 2023 and I’ve never had a strong conviction on a token as much as I have on $PERPSPAD
@theunipcs is in, @toly is talking about it,
@blknoiz06 wen jump on the perps train.
