ESP-Mosaico brings AI-assisted coding to real hardware. It combines an ESP32-S31-based board with a touchscreen and modular camera, audio, sensor, and control modules. You can build an idea, deploy it to the device, test it and keep improving it with AI assistance. Useful for prototyping smart devices, interactive systems, and robotics projects. What would you build first?

Finally people get it. AI + prompt based gaming = Metaverse. It is what @TimSweeneyEpic @ballmatthew and others have been saying for years. Note that if you said AI was relevant and accelerant for the Metaverse, they'd say it was attaching a dead buzzword to the new one for street cred. But here we are- you cannot deny what your eyes see. Very clear that the battle being waged for AI enabled gaming- especially prompts like what @DavidBaszucki is aiming for with Roblox- will lead to the exact vision of the Metaverse as put out in Ball's original essays: -Massively Scaled -Interoperable -Real-time rendered -3D virtual worlds -Experienced Synchronously and Persistently -By unlimited users It's not a future that is coming, it's already here. Intentionally built and predicted accurately years back.
I'm becoming more convinced the metaverse is going to be invented on accident by a YouTuber.

I built StoryComet with Fable 5.1 in three days. 15 animated children's books in five languages, with translated voiceovers, covers and UI. storycomet.app Parents can track progress. Kids can take quizzes, collect pins and 3D souvenirs, and switch languages on the fly. Six books teach English, Spanish, French, Japanese or Chinese. My three-day workflow: - Day 1: prototype (and post on X) - Day 2: 9 more books, languages, progress, quizzes, pins and souvenirs - Day 3: polish, domain name, supabase, accounts, Stripe and optimization The first three books are 100% free so you can try the whole experience. Members unlocks the other 12 at early-bird pricing. The 3D models and tokens cost me hundreds of dollars, so your support means a lot.

Developers, this isn’t just a badge; it’s an ESP32-S3 waiting for your next project. 👀 It's basically a customizable, always-on color e-paper display that can move between your bag, desk, fridge, or workspace. ✔ 3.7-inch color e-paper display with 48+ native colors ✔ ESP32-S3 inside with open-source support for custom projects ✔ Clip ring, built-in magnet, and desk stand ✔ Upload and edit designs through the mobile app ✔ Share your portfolio, profile, or links instantly through NFC ✔ Over two months of battery life with daily use ✔ Clear, paper-like visibility—even in direct sunlight The biggest advantage isn’t just the display—it’s how many different roles one small device can take on. You can use it as a digital bag charm, anime badge, task board, event pass, portfolio card, fridge note, or even build your own integrations with the ESP32-S3. Because it’s e-paper, it uses no power to keep an image visible after refreshing. That makes it feel less like another distracting screen and more like a piece of calm, programmable technology. For developers, makers, artists, and anyone who enjoys customizing their setup, TICKEY is more than a digital accessory. Check it out on Kickstarter: kickstarter.com/projects/eni…

GOOGLE MAPS SHOWS YOU STREETS. THIS WEBSITE SHOWS YOU THE MOVIE SCENES FILMED ON THEM. it's called Movie Scene Map → moviescenemap.com 15,716 real filming locations. 166 countries. one map. click any pin. see what was filmed there. search any movie. see every place it was shot. Game of Thrones castles in Croatia. Breaking Bad streets in Albuquerque. Lord of the Rings hills in New Zealand. the well from The Dark Knight Rises at Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur. the Woman in Red fountain from The Matrix in Sydney. the best part is how fast your brain starts using it wrong. you open it to search one movie. then you search your city. then your hometown. then the place you went on vacation. built by one anonymous guy who goes by Flightmussy. just a website that lets a normal person see where their favorite movies were actually made. open tab. search your city. see what movies got filmed near you.

This might be the best launch video of the year
Introducing Ato, your grandparent’s next computer. Over the past year, more than 2,500 older adults around the globe have used Ato in their daily lives through our beta program, and today we're taking our next step. Ato helps seniors stay independent on their own terms. It gives families a simple way to stay close and the peace of mind that comes from knowing how they’re doing, without cameras or tracking. The new Ato lives in the home, becomes part of their routine, and keeps families connected, all through a simple realtime voice interface. Millions of families are trying to help someone they love stay independent while coordinating care across relatives, caregivers, and healthcare providers. We’re building Ato into the coordination layer that brings all of them together.

Discovered this new series from a French director experimenting with AI video. It’s called “La Nona Gigante” - and it’s about a boy who spends the summer with his grandma, who is the last living giant on her island. Not hard to see this as a full movie…made by leo_cannone.

THIS IS WHAT A PHYSICAL AI SWARM LOOKS LIKE nine M5Stack display devices line up on a desk move the red handheld controller and they react together: neutral faces become a synchronized “Happy Birthday” message in Japanese. they don’t need to be humanoid to feel like agents. each device is small. the behavior is distributed. the result is physical, visible, and coordinated. this is the magic of embedded systems: turn a handful of small computers into something that behaves like one
finally! local AI is accessible to everyone. we replaced our massive smart home server with a single $8 ESP32-S3 chip processing voice commands entirely on-device. now anyone can build this. here is the full guide:

SpaceX is putting data centers in space. Now a startup is putting them in the ocean. Panthalassa built floating AI data centers powered by ocean waves. 85 meters long. Waves push water through turbines to generate electricity. Seawater cools the chips. Data beams back through Starlink. A prototype called Ocean-2 is already being tested off the coast of Washington. Peter Thiel led their $140 million Series B. Team includes people from SpaceX, Tesla, and Google. The AI industry needs so much power that we're now building data centers on water because we ran out of room on land.
