Honestly why should Ohioans trust someone to protect them who couldn’t even protect herself?

Speaking as a person who still painfully remembers the cPanel UI and the early days of the internet: this is gonna be real bad, y'all – at San Francisco, CA
🚨 BREAKING: PHP is warning admins to prepare for emergency security updates tomorrow to fix two critical vulnerabilities rated CVSS 9.2.
However, security researchers at @watchtowrcyber rate the flaws CVSS 10.0 and say they are RCE vulnerabilities affecting PHP 5 through 8.
Information about the vulnerabilities has reportedly leaked ahead of disclosure.
No known exploitation in the wild.

Is this a good CVSS 10.0 or a bad CVSS 10.0?

the closing message of the republican party in ohio is seemingly, “my opponent deserved to be raped as a child”
.@VivekGRamaswamy campaign responds:

ALT Attributable to Connie Luck, spokesperson for the Vivek Ramaswamy campaign: “We don't know what happened between Amy and her mother, who first spoke out about Amy in 2020, but we know that Amy Acton is a serial fabulist who has some serious problems with the truth that the public needs to be aware of before deciding who to entrust as governor.

Every election the left is presented with the world's easiest trolley problem, and every time they smirk and go "the trolley shouldn't exist" and then walk away.

Someone should explain to you about compounding interest. I paid 250000. Amortize it over 37 years at historical market returns & get back to me There's 0 chance I get more back than I should That this concept escapes you is the very reason why you're never going to have shit

Reminds me of when Bloomberg's DOT commissioner presumed to tell Tokyo it needed to "rebalance its streets"
Nah, thanks. I think Tokyo's got this.
In a city where 84% of trips are transit, walking or biking, Tokyo needs a revolution to rebalance its streets. Where better to start than Shibuya, the world’s busiest crossing, where peds outnumber cars 10:1? Talking #Streetfight with the Ministry of Land, Infra & Transport.

Reminds me of Adams saying that Tokyo had a lot to learn about trash collection and mass transit from NYC because they didn’t containerize their garbage.
Does Big Board on H St still do this?
Was recently at a bar where drinks were dynamically priced,
i.e. the more people bought a particular drink, the more expensive it became (price would then decayed over time towards a floor).
Fascinating to watch a few market mechanisms play out in a bar:
People ventured outside their usual orders in search of cheaper alternatives, often discovering new favorites in the process.
Others treated rising prices as signals of quality, happily paying premiums to try expensive drinks they’d never had before.
More experienced drinkers behaved like value investors, picking up underpriced drinks they already knew were good while everyone else chased the popular ones.
Price discovery, information leakage, herding, and utility trades all unfolded over rounds of drinks.
More bars should try this.
One simple trick!

I can promise you that last night when he came home, there were 5 cars parked behind him and this was the least intrusive place he could park, and then this morning he'll move it to a legal spot.
Extremely false
First dollar coverage for preventative care/routine screenings + copays-only primary/urgent care = minor
It's arithmetic that average premiums + average out of pocket expenses must equal average healthcare expenses
Catastrophic only coverage (say a HDHP without first dollar coverage etc. and a OOP maximum of $10k) on a guaranteed issue, no pre-existing conditions exclusion, community rating basis is still very expensive!

I also have less inclination towards presuming innocence in the court of public opinion if someone jumps bail and flees the jurisdiction. "While awaiting trial, give them the benefit of the doubt" is one thing. "if they skipped bail, treat them as innocent" is another.

Yes these people are delusional.
As soon as you move away from the primary purpose of delivering effective, reliable and safe transit you destroy your ability to deliver any transit.
You can’t muddy the waters by being the omnicause.
