Interesting that large numbers of #patients currently report receiving letters discharging them from dietitian services without discussion or review. @headsmatter @NeuroAlliance @NHSEngland @s9tmt @StrokeInfo1 #COVID19 – at Uppermill, England

So we abandon sick vulnerable people already reliant on help to save others? A better plan is to provide continuity so that they too don’t end up in A&E. We completely appreciate you have families but so do carers & patients who never clock off don’t have PPE or a decent wage

GM wide and across departments no we won’t be recommending complaints but supporting people to challenge decisions and stay well

I didn’t file a complaint... I just try to change this for the good. But I am only a little survivor, who doesn’t get heard a lot.

Complaints take too long and the process is designed to fail patients but you’re not alone and together we can fight bad service and delivery. We’re not asking for gold standard but we won’t accept bargain basement either. People deserve a quality of living even in a crisis.
After seeing an idea from a doctor on Facebook Lucy Bates, Clinical Lead in Critical Care, decided to put out her own advert & donation box in her local Co-op for pairs of knitted hearts 💕 One heart is given to a patient in critical care & the other is given to a family member.

#Epilepsy #Coronavirus Please think of others, in times such as this. Keep in touch with your dear family and friends. Ring them up regularly. Where needed go to the shops for them.

This is very worrying
Very concerned to learn that councils including @OldhamCouncil are reviewing policy on allocating #disabledparkingspaces outside/near to people’s homes based on affordability? Is there not a duty of care to provide safe parking for people with #disabilities @s9tmt @DVLAgovuk

Have you signed a DS1500 form for your #MND patients to help them access benefits? The DWP wants clinicians to feedback on the current rules for terminally ill patients. Complete the survey now before 29th Feb: bit.ly/2wpGln5

#Epilepsy Until a couple of few years ago, when asked the question ‘how are you today’ my immediate response was to go on about my epilepsy. One day one of my close friends said to me ‘it would be so nice to ask that question without you going on about yourself’
