The Sopranos at its core isn’t even really about the mafia. It’s about the human condition more than anything else.

This speaks so much to second + generation immigrants. There's a huge wave of nationalism or strength of immigrant identity, but suddenly a disconnect whenever one goes back to their homeland
That last shot of all the characters in the car, fucking poetry in motion.
Paulie, who couldn't fit in while in Italy and basically hating the trip, the people and the culture because of how low class he is, lying as always saying he felt right at home but smiling ear to ear seeing concrete and steel New Jersey because it's where he truly belongs.
Christopher still coming off his high and basically just as comatose as he was during the trip.
And finally Tony, who laments Italy where he truly felt at home, in the idyllic landscapes and picturesque towns, seeing the industrial decay of New Jersey and realizing how shit their thing is comparatively.
Fucking great
