My #adaptedpe class had fun slingshotting yarn balls onto our parachute. Each color was worth a different point value. When students were finished with their turn, they totaled up their score.

Come on 6! just might be my favorite thing we do in health class. If you don’t play this game in your stress unit, you absolutely need to add it into your curriculum. #healthed

Last night, I had the pleasure of chaperoning Hamburg’s Christmas Dance. I love seeing the students dressed up and having the time of their lives. I seriously have one of the best jobs!

For the first time since May 2007, I went back to my PE roots and spent the evening at West Chester University to speak to this year’s practicum students. I remember when alumni came to my practicum class to speak to us, and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to do the same.

This week in #healthed, it was all about Jenga. My 10th graders played Stress Jenga, to learn about how some stressors can be so much it can make your tower fall.

I have been fortunate to participate in one of Kelly Davis’ presentations. She is incredible! She also recently presented at our Berks County Health and PE in-service. There is no surprise that she would chosen to be WCU’s Outstanding Future Professional! 🤞🏻that she will win!

After several years of not having this event, yesterday, we finally had our Berks County Health and PE common in-service. Our goal was to get 75-100 teachers to sign up, and we had almost 140! It was a great day of connecting and learning! Can’t wait until next year!!

I received this yesterday at the boys soccer game. I walked onto the turf, next to Logan, and listened as the announcer read what Logan had to say about me, which honestly was hilarious. My job is a fun one, and I’m so happy to be at Hamburg! ♥️🤍♥️🤍

When you have siblings taking Wellness during the same period and they went to challenge each other in tennis, you let them play to see who wins. Little bro beat big sis 3 games to 2.

Today in #adaptedpe, we worked on tennis skills with balloons. The students had smiles on their faces and had a lot of fun.

Meg basically took the words out of my mouth! I had so much fun today, and it was great to see @Donine26 before school starts in a week and a half. @BoShappell killed it as the keynote speaker.
