As we get closer to launch, we're making two important changes to our Layer 1: moving consensus from Proof of Authority (PoA) to Nominated Proof of Stake (NPoS), and adding support for RISC-V smart contracts. PoA made sense throughout development. A known validator set gave us a predictable environment to develop, test, and iterate on the network. For launch, we're securing the network with a more decentralized model. Moving to NPoS replaces the reliance on a predefined set of authorities with a decentralized stake-backed validator and nominator system. Token holders can participate in securing the network by nominating validators, while validators are economically incentivized to operate correctly. We're also introducing RISC-V smart contracts. RISC-V makes smart contracts faster and more flexible by using an execution model that is much closer to how modern computers actually work. It also provides an architecture that's well suited to zero-knowledge (ZK) proving and other compute-intensive workloads. This is a major improvement in how the network runs, how developers will build on it, and its decentralization.

If I ever become a billionaire and start to be a shiller, please call me out on my bullshit
Thanks to President Trump’s leadership on AI: — a million new jobs have been created around the AI buildout; — 401(k)s are up ~12% this year as AI capex and productivity lift the market; — America is re-industrializing, including the first large private investments in power generation and the grid in a generation; — In rural Richland Parish, Louisiana, teachers just received $50,000 bonuses from data-center tax revenue. Because the media portrays AI only as a menace, people tell pollsters they “don’t like AI.” Their behavior says otherwise. AI products are the fastest-adopted technology in history — faster than the internet or the iPhone. People like the tools, the jobs, and the tax base. President Trump understands the media hoax cycle better than anyone else. That is why he is refusing the “pause” that Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are demanding. A pause would not make America safer. It would hand the frontier to China. That would be a disaster for the American economy and for national security.

If I could short this with my net worth I would. Zero it goes. There's only $1.541 million in liquidity on an $800 million market cap.
For years, Trump and right-wing media have been asking, “Where’s Hunter? Where’s Hunter?” Well, here I am. Clear, strong, seven years sober, and with a lot to say. By now, you may have seen the article in the Wall Street Journal that I’m launching a meme coin called $LAPTOP. The symbol they used to try to end me is now a symbol of resilience, redemption, and recovery. But why would I ever want to support a meme coin? Why something that has been so misused by grifters? I understand the cynicism. Trump has broken trust in everything he’s ever touched. And his token was no exception. With $TRUMP, nearly one million wallets have collectively lost ~$3.8B. With my token, 20% of the coins will be airdropped to the community, and I am even including people that lost money on the $TRUMP grift. 30% of the tokens are tied to a pre-programmed mechanism. We publicly say what has to happen in the world. If it happens, the corresponding tokens are permanently burned. If it does not, those tokens are sent to charity. Either way, they leave our hands and an additional 50 million tokens will go to charity no matter what. You should not expect me or anyone else to make this token more valuable for you. $LAPTOP isn’t just about owning something, it’s about saying something. Everybody gets knocked down. How do we help each other and our country to get back up? I've spent way too long being a story other people told. They lit a fire and threw everything into it. Here's what they don't understand: the only thing they burned was my shame. They think they killed me, but instead, all they did was make me fearless. They turned laptop into a weapon. I turned it into a token. $LAPTOP. Because the Truth Matters.

Mr @HunterBiden did no one tell you this wouldn't work? Whoever told you to go through with this has used you and profited (while you claim you did not)

currently $90m market cap. Down about 99%. I'm not sure if both celebrities or traders will ever realize celebrity coins can never work

HuggingFace but Bittorent style is already in the works. I knew this was coming the second I saw they were being bought out by Nvidia
did you think I was joking?

This "pair memecoins with stocks" narrative is a manufactured one to get as much liquidity into onchain stocks as possible so the RWA companies can get users to give liquidity instead of themselves The 100% APRs don't work anymore. It's actually a pretty smart move

everyone knows that at hypertensor we're going to be doing many things, and one of those things is inference. i am pleased to announce we got our first enterprise contract for 990k/year, 3 year contract. this is a company with only 7 followers out of Korea (more to announce soon) right now, im downloading their proprietary native remote video software so we can have our first meeting. im very excited for what is to come. please wish me luck!

This is only going to get worse. There are currently ways around this by using different verbiage but with these companies working more closely with governments and ridiculous regulations coming, AI companies being bought out by trillion dollar corporations, it's only going to get worse. Open-sourced, decentralized, distributed, or simply uncensored AI is a guarantee to increase in adoption.

Why are global superpowers and the world’s most powerful tech giants unanimously backing open-weight AI? Are they suddenly benevolent rather than profit-seeking, or have they recognized a pattern repeated throughout computing history? They back open-weight AI because open-source systems consistently out-adapt gated alternatives once baseline utility is reached. No single R&D team can match the speed of millions of developers optimizing, pruning, and deploying models for specialized hardware and niche workflows. Betting against open weights is betting that a single vendor can out-innovate the rest of the world combined. Open-weight models win on distribution because they turn AI from a rented API into owned, programmable code. When developers can fine-tune weights for specialized tasks and deploy them directly on the compute of their choice, they can eliminate artificial rate limits, data exposure, and vendor lock-in. As millions of builders optimize models for targeted workloads, the collective capability of the open ecosystem outpaces what any centralized provider can maintain. What does this mean for the future of AI infrastructure? As open-weight capabilities approach parity with closed APIs, model weights become commoditized software. Value shifts from model ownership to the execution layer, which is the decentralized compute that powers inference. Global leaders back open weights because they recognize that long-term operational leverage belongs to whoever hosts scalable execution while allowing builders total customization control. The future belongs to open infrastructure that delivers unconstrained, private, and resilient execution at global scale. That is where we align. We are providing the decentralized network necessary to power the world's open AI ecosystem that world leaders are openly promoting.

Decentralized AI is not the most important technology sector in the world right now /s The future of AI isn't decentralized or permissionless. You should not invest in decentralized AI - it's a bad idea
The Trump administration is considering an executive order, and other means, to ban Chinese open-source models within in the United States. Kimi K3 has reignited this debate. Reporting this morning by Axios. Commerce is also considering adding Chinese AI labs to the Entity List.

The mix use of crypto and AI is going to be the next bull cycle for crypto. Crypto is the best avenue for AI for agents and users when it comes to paying for compute and energy. AI is going to get regulated and crypto will be the answer.

Everyone is currently seemingly interested in consumer GPU based distributed LLMs. The truth is, it's incredibly slow. The more decentralized a model is (wrapping transformer blocks node by node), the slower it is. The issue isn't optimization of the model or throughput, it's latency between p2p communication. Cross region calls have a baseline latency of around 20ms (this is without encryption, security, and LLM logic) and the average output can be 500+ forward passes potentially generating thousands of hops. Is there currently a consumer market for this? Smaller models around <30B p can get around 10-20TPS if a GPU is hosting the full model (or only a few), and slower if more decentralized. But, a 30B p model can be hosted locally by many modern gaming PCs. Larger models 500B p or more, will garner under 2TPS (sometimes less than 0.5TPS) where a single output can take over a minute.

Are people really willing to spend less money for less speed or will they spend a more money for the speed and convenience? The biggest challenge to this market is local LLMs at 10x the speed

Open intelligence is the future This is the one thing people should be focusing on investing me DYOR and always invest in what's next AI only saw a blip with one winner in the last cycle, the next cycle is going to create multiple multiple billions dollar valuation decentralized AI protocols
Getting a bit annoyed about this

Private inference is going to be one of the most in-demand areas of intelligence over the next few years We're going to be poised to be one of the largest orgs doing it. Fully open, private, decentralized, scalable. We're not using 1:1 API:API communication which hinders scalability like everyone else. We are about future-proofing by using distributed algos for communication: DHTs, gossips, fanout, etc. Anyone can be a provider without whitelisting, enabling infinite scalability All communication is encrypted via noise protocol to mitigate MITM attacks, all model providers are behind a TEE to ensure provicy: i.e. no logging, no model provider can know, log, or store the prompts. Everything is behind a TEE from RPC nodes, model providers, and even the API endpoints that route calls. Everything users touch Fully private, fully decentralized, fully open, scalable to billions of users.
