🌶️ Hot take: Designers should avoid making changes to their work based solely on peer feedback.
Feedback is a signal that there’s something interesting to investigate. The next step is deeper analysis, not an immediate change to the design.
What's been going on in my life lately? A lot! Happy to be doing more in-person @LadiesThatUXATL events! It's so good to finally see people again
Anyways lol That's my life update 😂 Also, check out the next @LadiesThatUXATL event in Oct! It'll be virtual -- no need to put up with Atlanta traffic meetup.com/ladies-that-ux-at…

Okay, so I rearranged my whole life to avoid student loan debt, prepaid for my kids’ college educations since their births, and now everyone’s getting $10,000 forgiven?
I think that’s great 😊 Congrats, guys. A rising tide lifts all boats.

If you’re not prepared to have a disabled child than don’t become a parent. It’s always a possibility and no child should burdened with your disappointment that they exist.
Great thread for thought and to balance out some of the hyper-optimism that bootcamps promise you -- but don't get me wrong! Overall, I feel very fortunate to be in a career I mostly love doing work I care about. But every field has its problems.

1 more day until Kamikaze: Trail by Fire is released! 😲
When animation is finally done, it's time for compositing, sound effects and music to be added in. Between Moonlit Musica, composer Aaron Neal & our own inhouse team, the finishing touches made the short film shine!

I lost my job because I spoke to a man the way men speak to me.
This is why women leave the tech industry.
Ugh I don't even have airpods and I am so guilty of this! I feel like I've always got some sort of media playing on my phone to fill in the "dead air" all the time and I wonder why I feel so overstimulated lmao 🤦♀️
